SILVIO BERLISCONI has told Adriano Galliani he can continue the talks with Genoa and Torino, according to La Gazzetta.
Milan’s pre-season begins tomorrow at Milanello but Filippo Inzaghi and Adriano Galliani are still not satisfied with the squad; they met President Silvio Berlusconi yesterday at his Arcore villa & they reportedly spoke about the transfer market.
The Rossoneri have signed Michael Agazzi, Jeremy Menez and Alex (and bought out Andrea Poli, Riccardo Saponara and Michelangelo Albertazzi) but Pippo is still in need for reinforcements in order to fight for a top three Serie A spot next year.
Report: Orlando City approach Robinho with an offer
Reports: Milan and Genoa agree deals over Matri, Vrsaljko
For long it seemed like Hellas Verona’s Juan Iturbe is Milan’s number one target for the right winger role but with his price edging €30 million and Juventus working furiously to sign him, it’s believed that Milan have turned their intentions to Torino’s Alessio Cerci. Galliani already met Toro President Urbano Cairo on the weekend and talks have been initiated.
Galliani and Inzaghi had dinner with Berlusconi on Monday evening and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cerci was on the menu. It’s said that Silvio is a fan of the former Fiorentina man and has given his approval for the negotiations. Cerci, for whom Atletico Madrid have reportedly offered €12 million, is rated by the Turin club at nearly €20 million. Relationship with Torino are good, especially after the Antonio Nocerino loan deal since Milan agreed to pay 50 percent of the Italian’s wages.

However, before Milan move forward for Cerci (Roma are also interested in him), they need to sell. M’Baye Niang, Ale Matri and Robinho are expected to leave. Inzaghi wants 6 strikers in his squad and the certainties (at least for now) are Mario Balotelli, Giampaolo Pazzini, Jeremy Menez, Stephan El Shaarawy and Keisuke Honda. Inzaghi will hope to add Cerci.
Inzaghi also wants to improve the defense and Å ime Vrsaljko seems to be on his way. The deal to bring the 22-year-old Croatia man from Genoa is almost complete and Berlusconi also approved of this move. It still remains to understand the basis on which Vrsaljko will join. Milan are hoping to sign him on loan with the right for redemption (for about €7-8 million). Genoa could agree to it if Milan will pay 50% of Matri’s wages while he is on loan there next season (still nothing official).
FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti has meanwhile suggested that “the deal for Adil Rami will be concluded in the next few days.” Milan have offered around €3.75 million for the defender and Valencia have told him he can start the pre-season with Milan.
i really want the club to play cristante as a starter the 2 games i saw him play he was one of the best on the field i think against Atalanta he really bossed the midfield in that game + he scored a beautyfull goal and he did a good first half against sassaulo with an assist then he was subbed by guess who Allegri and we lost 4-3
Milan posted the members of 2014/2015 squad. 8 at least should be sold Zacardo, Constant, Essien, Robinho, Petgana, Matri, Albertazzi, Didac & Niang this would make some room for new enforcement.
