ROBINHO’S FUTURE could be in the Major League Soccer club and it could be alongside Ricky Kaka at Orlando.
Filippo Inzaghi wants 23-25 players in his squad next season and he reportedly wants 6 forwards for the 3 roles of the attack next season (he will be using 4-3-3 primarily in the 2014/2015 season). Robinho, 30, is not in the plans of Pippo.
Binho joined Milan with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer of 2011 and the two were very important in the Scudetto win but he was widely ineffective in the next seasons and was far from impressive in the 13/14 season in which Milan finished 8th.
Kaka said that he believes that Robinho can be the next major player to get an offer from the MLS & according to Sky Sport Italia, the offer has finally arrived – and it’s from the same Orlando City who’ve signed Ricky. There’s currently a problem as Orlando don’t know what to do with Robinho until the season starts (Kaka has been loaned out to Sao Paulo for instance).
Robinho seems likely to leave. His dream has always been to return to Santos for a third spell but a move to North America is likelier. Meanwhile, Livorno have joined several clubs in the race for the services of Milan’s 18-year-old Andrea Petagna.
