Report: Orlando City approach Robinho with an offer

47

ROBINHO’S FUTURE could be in the Major League Soccer club and it could be alongside Ricky Kaka at Orlando.

Filippo Inzaghi wants 23-25 players in his squad next season and he reportedly wants 6 forwards for the 3 roles of the attack next season (he will be using 4-3-3 primarily in the 2014/2015 season). Robinho, 30, is not in the plans of Pippo.

Binho joined Milan with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer of 2011 and the two were very important in the Scudetto win but he was widely ineffective in the next seasons and was far from impressive in the 13/14 season in which Milan finished 8th.

Reports: Milan and Genoa agree deals over Matri, Vrsaljko
Video: Montolivo at Casa Milan this week

Kaka said that he believes that Robinho can be the next major player to get an offer from the MLS & according to Sky Sport Italia, the offer has finally arrived – and it’s from the same Orlando City who’ve signed Ricky. There’s currently a problem as Orlando don’t know what to do with Robinho until the season starts (Kaka has been loaned out to Sao Paulo for instance).

Robinho seems likely to leave. His dream has always been to return to Santos for a third spell but a move to North America is likelier. Meanwhile, Livorno have joined several clubs in the race for the services of Milan’s 18-year-old Andrea Petagna.

Rami deal is in a stale mate

AC Milan want to pay 3.5 m but Valencia want 5 m

Taarabt wont happen, since he is a Left winger and we dont need any more left wingers

Well from what I can tell we only have ONE left winger, El Shaaraway. Am I missing something? Taarabt as backup for El Shaaraway would be good, and I think his play deserved it, as long as the asking proce isnt too high (maybe 5-6M max?) then its worth it. As he is still young and if he fails we should be able to move him on in a couple of years. However if he realises his huge potential he could become a Milan champion, or if those 2 idiots are still in charge then he can be flipped for… Read more »

Well Milan also want to pay a lot for Iturbe because they want to make a marquee signing. Taarabt is not a Marquee signing. Plus, Saponara was kept so he can play on the left wing.

We currently still have too many players though, we need to get rid of more. We should try and sell Agazzi (Market Value of £5M) Mexes (Market Value of £2.2M) Zaccardo (Market Value of £0.7M) – Livorno? Abate (Market Value of £10M) – PSG? Vila (Market Value of £1.7M) Montolivo (Market Value of £12M) Essien (Market Value of £1.5M) Birsa (Market Value of £2.2M) – Chievo? Robinho (Market Value of £4M) – Orlando? Pazzini (Market Value of £9M) Matri (Market Value of £5M) – Genoa? Now I know they are only market values, but I think Montolivo and Abate and… Read more »

In other news Milan is asking for Cerci, Torino has gotten nocerino so I believe this could happen. Iturbe is more expensive and milan as always will be looking for a cheaper alternative, what do you guys think?

Good thing Milan are letting him go. I enjoyed watching him play when he first arrived and i truly thought he would be the one to help lift the team heading into the 2013/2014 season. Unforunately, that was not the case. His departure is overdue. He must leave in order for Milan to bring in some good forwards up front. On another note, the Milan forwards are all very young with the exception of pazzini. We must keep pazzini as an example for the youngsters. I hope we signed taarabt just to add more depth to our attack. But I… Read more »

Montolivo is a great fit for a captain. I don’t understand why people are turning against him. First sell him, then he’s a bad captain. What did he do to make y’all so MAD?!?!?! lol. On his performance level i think he has been good not great though but then again, if you look back on how we had a terrible season – He’s not to blame because overall the team SUCKED!!

Montolivo is going NOWHERE!!!Let this piece of information sink right through your brain. He’ll be captain for many more years to come.Berlusconi gave him the armband… GO FIGURE MATE!

Galliani met with the Torino owner yesterday and tabled a bid of 15M for Cerci but Cairo insisted he wants 20M, some reports have it that Niang could be part of the deal.

Galliani is offering Cerci EUR2.5M per season at Milan but he currently earns EUR800,000.00 at Torino. At most give him a double figure of say 1.6M and could rise according to his performance season by season. To be honest, unneccessary high wages Galliani offers is the main problem facing Milan finance, why pay 5M gross and in 2 seasons he gets a tenah!

1.6 million is not that much when realize that Muntari make 3 m a year.

Rami has been given permission to start preseason with us. It is said an agreement will be found in a few days. We are trying to find an agreement with vrsaljko. And we just bid for cerci. It’s said juventus could capture Iturbe by Wednesday. On another note, pato is close to inter.

@Jibola, that’s what Galliani does…although for me, Cerci is quality. I just hope he can do good in a bigger team though. Agreed though that 1.6 million would be a more reasonable rise in his salary. The sooner we acquire these players, Cerci (Griezmann would’ve been awesome thoug), Vrsaljko and get the deal done with Rami, the better! So they can all be part of pre-season and gel with the team. Sorry to hear about Pato going to Inter, that’s a bummer. A front three with El Shaa-Balo-Cerci looks amazing, even though Griezmann would be perfect too haha. With Menez,… Read more »

@Milanista121im with you on that one lol, even though Cerci is a good player and can fit well in an all italian front 3, griezmann catches the eye of me for some reason. He’s young very talented and a difference maker. I hope we get him lmao! Apparently they have put a 15m price tag on him and that’s actually a very fair price. He’s a lot better then iturbe and we’re willing to spend 30m on him. Please galliani look at griezmann before any other big club comes and snatches him up

Yes exactly, that’s why I’m hoping for him too! Especially if it is true that his price tag is for 15 million, how can Galliani not be looking at him as the first choice? haha. Oh well, as long as one of the two arrives I’ll be glad. Don’t want us to spend that much on Iturbe.
Griezmann is my personal first choice, then Cerci!

Just as I was about to write, greizmann is of our lista he is french prospect so Monaco PSG and arsenal (french player lover wegner) will buy him very overpriced. Juan Iturbe cost to much I can’t se that he will justify the price tag last year the defenders did not care now when he gets a 30M€ price tag slapped on him all the defender will be ready for him so he will not get the same freedom and space. Valbuena is to old. Cerci is the best option I have been screaming for him all season and to… Read more »

Galliani and Berlusconi are jokers who now only toy with Milan. Real interested buyers have come forward for our target players Iturbe and Cerci and if its true that Berlusconi has mandated sales of Robinho, Niang and Matri first before signing any player then, Milan isn’t a club heading the right direction in transfer market. How can Milan be so greedy to pay 5M requested by Athletico Madrid (reduced from 7M agreed clause) for a much needed and proven Rami yet Galliani submitted a bid of 28M for a big club unproven talent? when can’t he pay 18M for Cerci,… Read more »

here why montolivo must go: HE CANT LEAD the team and instead of making sure the team stay united HE IS BREAKING it apart that in itself is reason enough not just to get the armband back but to sell him also look at what (apparently) Liverpool has done with Suarez we need to protect our image to attract sponsors

Dude, basic economics. You don’t pay 10 bucks for an apple worth 3 bucks just because you have 50 in your pocket. Any player is worth exactly what an interested club is willing to pay, and not a cent more. In the case of Rami there are few alternatives to the deal going through as it is clear he won’t go back to Valencia and there are no other clubs currently interested while Rami himself seems happy to stay in Milan. Kudos to Galliani for waiting Valencia out and not just splash out more cash than necessary just to get… Read more »
