CESENA ARE looking into the option of loaning Cristian Zaccardo and Andrea Petagna, while Genoa want Ale Matri.
Milan certainly won’t be needing more than 24-25 players in the squad next season (including the goalkeepers) as they only have Serie A and the Coppa Italia to play for and they are interested in cutting down on the number of squad members.
The Rossoneri have already made progress on this front, with Antonio Nocerino, Kaka, Bakaye Traoré, Urby Emanuelson, Marco Amelia, Bartosz Salamon leaving (Alex, Menez and Agazzi have been brought in) and the trend is set to continue.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cristian Zaccardo, who in the recent weeks has been approached by the Turkish Balikesirspor but Cesena are also interested in signing him. The newly-promoted side would like to have Zaccardo loan. They’ve already admitted that they are interested in loaning Andrea Petagna; Petagna also attracted interest from Latina.
It’s also written on today’s edition of Gazzetta that there is an idea of swapping Alessandro Matri and Šime Vrsaljko. Matri was bought just last summer from Juventus in a deal worth €11 million (to be paid over 4 years) but he was less than impressive to say the least for the Diavolo are they want to get his wages off the books. Adriano Galliani and Enrico Preziosi are set to spend the weekend together and they will reportedly discuss the two players and the possibility of a swap deal.
Meanwhile, Kaka spoke about Robinho and a possible future for Binho in the MLS: “I haven’t spoken to Robinho recently, but I do think he’ll be one of the next players to receive an offer from MLS.” The same Orlando are supposedly interested.
