KEISUKE HONDA scored Japan’s first 2014 World Cup goal and the first goal in the match against Cote d’Ivoire last night but it wasn’t enough for Alberto Zaccheroni’s side to get the win. Honda netted in the 15′ minute with a powerful shot from inside the box. Gervinho and Wilfried Bony overturned the result and so Japan and Honda lost the game.
To all the honda hating fans that think he is not world class. Only if he had more playing time and a good role in Milan! hopefully inzagi will give him that
Honda is world class and he should definitely stay. however this game vs Core d’Ivoire he got tired early on and he wasnt that good and he also is very slow. I think he should play in life midfield and make passes like Pirlo used to to Balotelli or the wings.
He´s not very slow, although you´re right he isn´t a sprinter either. The thing about Honda is that he isn´t FAST, but he is QUICK: a quick thinker, quick passer, and has quick feet that can take him out of tight spots like he did in that goal. Basically, perfect as a number 10, where he doesn´t need to be the fastest player, especially with players like El Sha, Balo or even Menez ahead of him

The way he has being performing so far really shows Seedorf was playing him out of position

Someone previously said that iturbe was listed as a Milan player on wikipedia, i checked it out and i swear it was true but i guess someone must have just edited the article it says Hellas Verona now :P anyway, hope rami deal comes through

I saw him and am not surprised with his performance, he’s always a top goalkeeper who deserves better club. He solely stopped Brazil and that’s what Milan need.
Some peeps here amaze me when they talk so bad of players they don’t know especially for the fact that Ochoa is on free transfer, they are ready to crucify him but truth be said, few goalkeepers out there are better than OCHOA.

I’ll admit, I was one of his doubters, I had seen him, but I never saw that “top-top” quality in him, but he proved me wrong last night, great positioning and reflexes. His save on Neymar was out of the absolute top drawer.
