Highlights: Fiorentina 2-2 Milan

106

MILAN THREW away two vital points as they visited the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday’s lunchtime fixture. Riccardo Montolivo found the back of the net in the 14′ to put Milan in front. Nenad Tomović was sent off in the 40′ minute (controversy) and Mathieu Flamini extended the Rossoneri’s lead in the 62′ minute. Paolo Tagliavento continued his absolutely disgusting performance in the second half and with a series of shocking calls (assisted by Milan’s poor second half display), the referee brought Fiorentina back into the game. Tagliavento gave Fiorentina a very very soft penalty in the 66′ minute and Adem Ljajić converted it. Six minutes later – another penalty! and again controversy: David Pizarro took it and scored. Milan had a few penalty appeals and in the final minute there was a very clear handball in the Fiorentina box, right in front of Tagliavento’s eyes, but the referee, who didn’t approve the Muntari-Juventus goal last season, did not use his whistle. Milan keep the third place but Napoli can run away in they beat Genoa later on Sunday. Mario Balotelli will miss the Napoli game next week through suspension after his yellow.

Kuchini

Watever, i’m out of this blog b4 my eyes fall out.

Chudy

Woow..if the management chooses the kind of players they want him to use and refuse him the players he want..then he still coaches the team and dont have enough balls to resign or walk; then he is cheaper than I thot..his worst performance is yet to come.. Add that to the fact that Kuchini tried to exonerate Allegri that he doesnt have the players he requested for… Capello resigned as England coach cos the FA stripped his captain of the armband..thats balls and belief in what you represent.. Kuchini..u r fixated like Allegri..I thot u threatened to leave this blog..… Read more »

Greg

If Allegri got the players he wanted we’d be stuck with Lazarri and Lodi. That’s the kind of mindset he has

kelvin

You want a blog that’s debate-free…where everybody sings the same song…where everyone is one dimensional…where “fans” agree to every statements put out by other bloggers because they are deemed “real fans”…where someone won’t oppose your lackluster reasoning…where people won’t questions the coach’s tactics or lack there-of??????… Goodbye gentlemen, you may leave in peace!

Chudy

Nicely put Kelvin..some people think we share same finger prints..

Max

Even though our perforance in the second half was awful, the game was badly affected by the ref.
Forza Milan and it was not a bad result!!!!

Max

Reports are Milan is close to signing 18 year old Colombian CB Jherson Vergara.

Juninho

I don’t know him.

Max

Full name: Jherson Vergara Amù
Age: 18
Nationality: Colombia
Height: 187 cm
Position: Defender, Centre back
Current team: Universitario de Popayàn

Attributes: Strength, Heading accuracy, Ball Interception, Marking

Milanista121

It’s not Allegri’s fault that Tagliavento was awful.
If it wasn’t Tomovic, Aquilani should probably have been sent off, his play was so wreckless, don’t know what his deal was…
Everyone should STILL remember that this is and has always been year zero, the players will learn from this. But of course I’m very frustrated as you guys are.
Looking forward to seeing Pazzini play against Napoli!

Pa ibra

and here comes kuchinis twin brother..

yes and its not tagliavetos fault that allegri asked his boys to defend toooooo deep against ten men.
and its year zero for fiorentina as well

Milanista121

If anything Fiorentina has improved from last season, while Milan had become weaker. So, tell me, how is this year zero for Fiorentina?
And Tagliavento was awful.

Pa ibra

both clubs started their respective projects this season. its sounding to you as if we are lacking in something that fiorentina or other teams actually have – probably because we are having a coach like allegri

Milanista121

I’m sorry, but you obviously don’t get my point.
And how you’re comparing Milan’s year zero to Fiorentina’s so called “year zero” is beyond me…
Fiorentina INVESTED greatly in the summer thus IMPROVING their squad, something Milan did not, if you compare the names we had last season to the ones now. Excluding Balo who joined in january. The only signing we lacked last season was Montolivo.

Decorder

Got to love the referee, penalty for a non existent tackle and no penalty for a very clean handball in front of his very own eyes! Yellow card for a non existing offense! Gotta love Tagliavento!

No one should be leaving this blog. Everyone saying their own opinions is what makes democracy work.

Milano Q8

Hi guys, there are 1 advantage that happened today vs 2 disadvantages: 1. Inter lost incredibly 4-3 2. Napoli won 3. The ref forced Fiorentina to tie with Milan + Balo got a yellow card witch will not allow him to play agains Napoli next match!!! 🙁 Yes everyone is pissed off at the ref and thinks if we won today and beat Napoli next match we would be in 2nd place. True, we still can, it might be harder to do so without Balo however, don’t forget we beat Barca without Balo so cheer up and cross your fingers.… Read more »

I’m not sure why everyone is blaming Allegri for conceding two goals when they came off of penalties in which he did not commit, the Milan players did…

Ted

They were defending one goal lead against 10-man viola instead of finishing the game in early stage

General Gattuso

@kuchini why should u be leaving the blog be’cos of this morons, @cyborg, kelvin, chudy and pa ibra pls guys go and look 4 a life. Allegri is still the boss and if u guys think u know better, go and apply 4 the job if u don’t get it keep shut or better still go hug transfomer. Milano 4 ever

Pa ibra

thanks

Abbey

Who told you he asked them to defend “sooooo deep”? For Allegri to be on the Milan bench this long means he knows a thing or two about coaching.

cyborg

why didn’t he do anything when he saw us defend deep against 10 men fiorentina of all teams, until we conceded two goals? @general gattuso pls stop calling yourself gattuso, you are a disgrace, you have your lips so far up @kuchini’s ***, that can’t even think, you keep agreeing with every garbage that comes out of his chievo minded brain. This blog is better off without him, they are already sick of him on other blogs too. Hit the road flying donkey!

kelvin

Lol..Seems like some people here are related, go and form your little buddy romance on the other blogs you all keep bragging about!… Aint it Funny how even football analysts on espn where almost quoting my exact feedback on the match, how Allegri got his tactics wrong, how it seemed like we were the side with a man down…Touché!!!

Chudy

The whole world knows Allegri got his tactics wrong except Kuchini and his cousins.. He askd for a cultured analysis..they gave him one..and a street urchin is talking about hugging transformer..do you follow Milan at all or u are obsessed with Allegri he is yet to win against Fiorentina in 3 consecutive meetings with df set of players..he will always lose against an attacking side..he will throwout or frustrate all attacking minded players..he prefers sitting back and hope he gets a lucky break upfront..Kuchini came up with the analysis that 4-3-3 is the problem cos he needs the best players… Read more »

True fans must be commited to his team tho to complain is a normal thing due to d love we have 4 d team. Let s face the future ……Hahahahahaha king kuchini s leaving??I M GONNA BE D NEXT KING OF DIS BLOG….sulexdinho86 on 2go…..mustapha sulexdinho olawale pato on fb….forza milan

kelvin

@generalGattuso telling us to “look 4 a life” & to “hug transformer”.hahahahahaha….with that grammar what you need to look for is your own identity, a personality, some brains, a pair of eyes, perhaps a new team to “support” as well!

julius

Fellow Milanistas,This is exactly what happens on a Blog like this..except for the Abuses most of u are already adding to ur comments..For Christ’s sake every1 is entitled to his or her opinion here..and u don’t expect every one to see a thing from same perspective even though we may be looking @ that particular thing from the same Angle.. I didn’t Criticize Allegri against Barca, cos I know the experience and quality of Barca Team, but against a team like florentina, without their stars is unacceptable…Anyways I wasn’t surprise @ the Draw, after seeing the 1st 5mins of the second Half,I was ashamed… Read more »

Shouldn’t coaches be banned from talking to the ref? Apparently Montella had words with him at half time complaining about the sending off and then the ref probably felt he had to “make things even.” Hence two non-existent penalties…

N3R0

I heard they made a bet… Now why the f would that be allowed?

isaiah don shevy

sulexdinho u ar now d new king of dis blog by d power invsted in me.

kelvin

Here’s the thing….I for one, am not maliciously attacking Allegri out of personal hate as I have no reason to! His errors are just as clear as daylight for me to pass by. I can see it, some people on this blog can see it, international football analysts can see it….in respect to the teams performance, its the coach that has to take the larger portion of blame when (a) results aren’t yielded & (b) the team lacks creativity, inspiration & composure on the field. I’m sorry but if you couldn’t work out why a 10-man Fiorentina ran all over us… Read more »

D-Bo

Unfortunately, we let 2 points get away this weekend. I’m sure we’ll be able to rebound. Hopefully we’ll be ready for Napoli down the road and ready to take over 2nd.

Ladon

We are justing talking off poit on this blog. Isn’t it irritating that even after Fiorentina went a man down we can’t even complete three passes. what do we do in training? We all asaw the impact of Nani sending off on Man U vs Real in the ucl. Its so pathetic consedering that fiorentina just average player and even lost Montella to us but they real are a delight to watch.

Ladon

When people refused to take responsibility and do what they ought do to make their team win, this is the kind of statement you get.

In a chat with Inter Channel, Bonolis claimed that the Nerazzurri were being harmed so that city rivals Milan could finish high enough to qualify for the Champions League.

Isn’t this astonishing? Complaning about referee while neglecting our problem.

Hahahahaha @ don shevy thanks man i really appreciate ur backing…HAIL KING SULEXDINHO…forza don shevy forza milanoo

Ladon

@Milanista121, that a football club brought in big names does not guarantee that the team will play good football. An example is Psg. The desire and ability for a team to play good football lies with the coach and not on high profile signings. Swansea of England don’t have any high profile signings. Even when we had all the big names we had last season, berlusconi still complained several times about the way Allegri’s team played. The way we currently play can’t take us anywhere in europe even if we spend big and apart from Jovetic, Fiorentina don’t have any… Read more »

What matters in football is results.
We played poorly against Fiorentina, but were still up with 0-2, and if it wasn’t for Tagliavento, despite our poor display, we would’ve won, three important points, and that’s what I want, because like I said, what matters is the results and the win, if we play well, it’s only a bonus.

Chudy

We ve bin knockd out by d same teams twice from both the champions league and Copa Italia for 2 consecutive seasons.. Allegri told us 13 games to go last season that we will be playing for the 2nd star this season and what does he do with less than 8 matches to go he loses at the San Siro against Fiorentina after leading the first half 1-0.. Gentlemen in 4 consecutive meetings against Fiorentina he is yet to get a win with different sets of players..he leads the first half and crumble in the second..it tells you that his… Read more »

Ancelloti picked up two draws against the same side that humilated us 4-0..he didnt defend: I must confess the Barca team are so ordinary without Messi..even the Dinho’s Barca wasnt as dependent on him..we pray no one does a “Van Basten” on Messi.
