Report: Pato to return against Cagliari

23

ALEXANDRE PATO is expected in two weeks against Cagliari while Montolivo could be back really soon.

Massimiliano Allegri would tell you Milan’s injury list is not that big compared to other Serie A clubs but the Rossoneri have many players already on the treatment table, including the 23-year-old Alexandre Pato.

It’s hard to think of a time in 2012 in which Pato was not injured with Milan and the Duck, who claimed before that this 2012/2013 season will finally be “my golden season”, is suffering from a muscle injury.

Bojan: “Milan deserve respect, I want to stay”

According to a report on today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport, Alexandre Pato is expected to be fit in two weeks’ time for the midweek clash against Cagliari at Stadio San Siro. “He is recovering quickly and this time his injury is not related to past injuries. He will be back soon,” Vice President Adriano Galliani said of Pato.

Pato, who according to many reports has broken up with Barbara Berlusconi, is not the only injured Brazilian at Milan as Robinho is also out. The former Santos attacker is expected back for the Udinese game next weekend or even for the Champions League clash against Anderlecht at San Siro. Riccardo Montolivo meanwhile, shouldn’t be out for too long as he’s likely to be fit already for Saturday’s match.

Didac Vila has confirmed through Twitter today that he’s also getting better. Milan have welcomed back the international players to training today and Bojan Krkic and Stephan El Shaarawy scored in a small match.

silami

i wish every milan players quickly recovery. Forza milan

kelvin

I wonder who he’ll pair up with….

Jo4milan

Hahahaha, how many times have we heard this? He might even get injured while farting…Hahahaha. PATO is NO USE to Milan. We shudve sold him when we had the chance, guess Silvio is regretting especially now that he no longer Bangs Lady Barbara. Had we sold him Tevez wouldve come& we wouldve won the Scudetto and we wouldnt have sold Ibra and Silva… PATO is a Joke!

Tippy

You could have the most flawed logic i have ever seen….

noah oluwafemi

Pato is nt 4 sel bcus is stil yng nd is a feature player, tevez is nw old we dn’t ned hm @ milan 4za milan 4za pato.

1five1

@tippy, not he ‘could’, he definately has d most flawed logic anyone has ever seen.

If its true that Pato and Barbara split-off, i,m sure he will get back to his original form or even better than.

yareens80

i hope so.

abate, mexes, zapata, de sciglio is a must for the defence and gabriel looks more enthusiastic than abbiati in training plus he is way better than amelia i think he should be given a go de jong is out best defensive mid since there are only two of them but muntari is good there too, better than ambrosini and i dont think we should all say de jong is a must start in front of the defence because muntari is as good in my opinion nocerino and emanuelson will need to battle is out for that left sided role and… Read more »

hey bro, you make sense. i would change zapata for Acerbi at the moment. I think he is going to be great, Had a fairly decent pre season and was great the last game. I dont rate Mexes much so in time i would replace him with zapata or potentially Yanga-Mbiwa. As you said, montolivo on the right, De jong centre and Nocerino on the left with Boateng in the hole. Have you watched el sharaawy with italy U21. He plays on the left and plays very well and gets into scoring positions, i think from now on he plays… Read more »

Milanista Tropics

PATO is still our golden boy and the biggest and brightest jewel in our crown he will ALWAYS have my support

Jo4milan

Yeah he always has Ur support…In the Hospital. He has only been the brightest for Barbara. Lets see how many games he will play. My bet: Not more than 10 games! Just wait…

makAveli

Lay of Pato you imbeccile. Too much hate for the kid i don’t understand. He is very young. Just let him be. Or do you pay his wages? He is always injured so what. He has the highest resale value in the team now

Milanista Tropics

if all clubs thought like you joe there would probably be no messi who just as imjury prone as pato, no robben, no van persie etc for us to enjoy.. we need to be a little more patient man.. pato WILL come good for us

justin

Thats it if pato gets injured in the next month after he returns i want him sold he is no use im sorry hate all you want but we paid 4 million last year on a player whose only good moment was his 22nd goal vs barca

truongdang

Although Pato like glass boy. But I believe him. I think he is our first choose.
In Middle, we have many player ( why we buy many MD? – Let sell some or lend of them). 4 name in middle: Boateng, Nocerino, Urby and De Jong.

kingbuzza

Wish u quick recovery to u pato and d rest. Why all this bashing or don’t u know how talented he is? Lets be patient pato will be great in the future and all we have 2 do is to pray 4 him and the rest. 4rza Milan

Jo4Milan is right in one respect — If we’d swapped Pato for Tevez we probably would’ve won the league and then you have to ask – would the domino effect have started? Ibra >> Silva >> Cassano.
