M’BAYE NIANG could join Milan officially very very soon as Milan have finally agreed a deal with Caen.
After the deal seemed to be off as Caen didn’t agree to loan the player, the transfer is now close to being finalized and M’Baye Niang, the young striker of Stade Malherbe Caen, could join Milan already tonight.
Niang attracted interest from all over the continent, and England in particular, with his performances for the now-Ligue-2 Caen, having featuring for France’s Under 21 team before even becoming 17-years-old.
Milan are now set to wrap the deal up with Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani flying out to France today along with Milan lawyer Leandro Cantamessa and one of Niang’s agents in Italy Oscar Damiani. The idea is to finalize the move of the player, who is keen on joining il Diavolo, after visiting the Milanello complex.
According to reports in Italy, Milan will be paying Niang €2.5 million – €3 million and sign him permanently. L’Equipe reported yesterday, however, that Milan’s new offer for Niang is in the region of €5 million which is a massive amount for a kid who scored just five goals in 30 appearances for his club. Niang has massive potential and is certainly a buy for the future rather than the now. He’s been named the new Thierry Henry.
In other news, Milan already an incredible lack of options up front: Pato is injured while Robinho is also tipped to miss the next game with an injury (will be further check soon), so Allegri has just 2 forwards.
