Milan set to wrap up Niang deal

34

M’BAYE NIANG could join Milan officially very very soon as Milan have finally agreed a deal with Caen.

After the deal seemed to be off as Caen didn’t agree to loan the player, the transfer is now close to being finalized and M’Baye Niang, the young striker of Stade Malherbe Caen, could join Milan already tonight.

Niang attracted interest from all over the continent, and England in particular, with his performances for the now-Ligue-2 Caen, having featuring for France’s Under 21 team before even becoming 17-years-old.

My Two Cents – A quick rant on Milan’s recent outing
Highlights: Milan 0-1 Sampdoria

Milan are now set to wrap the deal up with Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani flying out to France today along with Milan lawyer Leandro Cantamessa and one of Niang’s agents in Italy Oscar Damiani. The idea is to finalize the move of the player, who is keen on joining il Diavolo, after visiting the Milanello complex.

According to reports in Italy, Milan will be paying Niang €2.5 million – €3 million and sign him permanently. L’Equipe reported yesterday, however, that Milan’s new offer for Niang is in the region of €5 million which is a massive amount for a kid who scored just five goals in 30 appearances for his club. Niang has massive potential and is certainly a buy for the future rather than the now. He’s been named the new Thierry Henry.

In other news, Milan already an incredible lack of options up front: Pato is injured while Robinho is also tipped to miss the next game with an injury (will be further check soon), so Allegri has just 2 forwards.

Please give us KAKA at least!

mion4

something to cheer up after missing out on a couple of prospects

namo

how did we get there already that we have so limited options up front?
given the loss of so many this summer we would benefit hugely if the injuries did not rack up again 🙁

Viktor

At last ! Hope he can play right away vs. Bologna, because we have only Pazzini and El 92…

Ahmad Al-Hamdan

although i think it is a good signing, i wish Galliani spent more time looking for defenders, I WANT ASTORIIII

arya

is he even any good?

vicnasnaija

we can play prince as a striker along with pazz and sharaawy,we could also give carmona a shot at the cam role.

vicnasnaija

reports say that mbaye can also play as a cam,so a double plus for us.

Nebuchadnezzar

The boy is very good, but I don’t think bringing him will solve all our problems….We need at least three players to beef up the squad.
Forza Milan

kingbuzza

U are welcome. Hope to shine at 17 just like pato did. Forza milan

vicnasnaija

as for the cdm role,we cud get lodi

mion4

kaka-lass-m’baye-mbiwa and we’re ready to go!

Pa ibra

“Allegri has just two fowards”? is that a trouble for Allegri… the guy wont mind moving Antonini in an advance role and play Bonera at LB. the only concern for Allegri could be Shortage of DMFs.

Pa ibra

though i dont know him much but a player at 17 with such potential has to be wellcome.

nikhil

uncle fester will be in france.so i hope he will be at psg hq and sign nene or montpiller mbiwa with mexes swap.or milan youth product the gabon striker

Signor Eskola

“however, that Milan’s new offer for Niang is in the region of €5 million which is a massive amount of a kid who scored just five goals in 30 appearances for his club”

Yeah, but take into account that most of Niang’s appearances are sub appearances and his potential is definitely worth at least 5 million…

Ali

I still prefer 17-year old talent that scored 5 goals in 30 matches for €5m, rather than a 24-year old Ze Eduardo that has travelled through 20 clubs already and scored about 20 goals in his whole career.

udochukwu

good one! Chelski bought lukaku 4 24m, and pay piazon 1m evri yr. And some1 ott there says dt our crazy fester is not great. I’d rather hv him than kenyon. Forza milan!

Kuchini

Hahahaha! @pa ibra, dats so true.

Milanista121

Great, hope to see his move become official soon so we can put ALL our focus on Kaka and then on a central midfielder (De Jong/Lass)

payam

niang is well, but u can also bring back milanista pierre Aubameyang who scored 16 goals in la champione last season for st.etien.his playing style is nice as el shaarawy and he should not be expensive for his former club.

foasdc

Hope allegri will give him a chance bcause allegri hardly use new signings like he did last season esp if d player is young.

Neyo

It true my guy

Nana fynn

I dont know what to say, lets wait and see.

Mario forlan

At last sum gud news, hope he prove his worth at milan. Forza niang, forza mario forlan nd forza milan

oladeji

well idnt know him but i wish him best of luck.but bellusconi has to stop d ideal of selling milan star all bcs of been broke at leats he should learn 4m morati of inter n abramovic of chelsea

bronkis

Great move. hope he take a rational number like 19 or 27,, not BIG NUMBER. its not looking good for a big team like Milan..

bronkis

but ive been thinking to worry him to take a number like 90 or due to his birth year, 94..oh my god. i do dislike Stephan’s and Yepes’s number. please change to a rational number!!! u can see barca, madrid or atleast juve and inter, they’re all dont have any big number like ours..its not reflects the big team in my opinion.

cyborg

the injuries are turning out to be a blessing in disguise, now w’ll get to see the young kid play, and ambrosini(36) is injured yeh!!!!!!! I’d like to see him partner SES and pato upfront that would the REAL meaning of BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE. I’d rather see us loose with them upfront, than loose with some nearly 30year old guys. FINALLY!!!! sense has found its way into mr g, i just wish it can do the same with allegri. For the gazillionth time BOATENG IS NOT A TREQUATISTA, try someone else, just like you forced emmanuelson from being a… Read more »

if allergi insists on playin with 4-3-1-2 plz lineup like this:
Abbiati
Abate/De Sciglio Acerbi Zapata Constant
Boateng Montolivo Nocerino
Emanuelson/Sharaawy Pazzini/Pato Niang/Robinho
more of a 4-3-3 but can be interpreted as a 4-3-1-2

but imo with our current squad 4-2-3-1 is best…i just wish they get allegri that damn cdm he desires so he wont have any more excuses

Júlia

Guys, can he play asap? Or he has to wait until december, his 18th birthday?
Can you please link me a regulation for this?

I see Milan playing playing a more and more 4-3-2-1.

I don’t see Constant getting a chance at LB, but we’ll see.

TWF

LOL…hiw many strikers do you want allegri? you have no gut to change the formation and play with 4 strikers when milan behind 0-1 against sampdoria. you are so stubborn and so rigid with 4-3-1-2 formation. you just don’t want to take a risk. that is why conte is better than you, man! i doubt that niang will have enough playing time this season. btw, don’t you all see how useless boateng and flamini were in the last match? boateng should be played as a RM (NOT as a trequrtista) and flamini should be released to any clubs immediately! constant… Read more »

I don’t know what milan is going to do with the money of silva and ibra. To me that money surposed to be use to buy kaka but milan still want him on loan. I see no reason for milan to loan we the money so why not buying instead of loan
