MILAN LOOKED absolutely terrible in the opening day of the Serie A season as in front of 36,288 people at Stadio San Siro they lost 0-1 to newly-promoted side Sampdoria. Massimiliano Allegri decided to keep Giampaolo Pazzini and Cristian Zapata on the bench and Milan simply looked out of ideas in front, with Riccardo Montolivo far from impressive on his official debut, and very shaky at the back with Daniele Bonera and Mario Yepes struggling. The first 45 minutes were miserable for Milan, hardly creating any scoring chances. Pazzini was brought on in the 56′ minute but minutes later Andrea Costa beat Bonera far too easily to head Sampdoria’s winning goal. Milan were trying to equalize afterwards but even luck was against them as they hit the post. Milan’s first game of the season ends in a huge disappointment, Milan played an awful game and the fans have really nothing to be happy about.
