Highlights: Milan 0-1 Sampdoria

69

MILAN LOOKED absolutely terrible in the opening day of the Serie A season as in front of 36,288 people at Stadio San Siro they lost 0-1 to newly-promoted side Sampdoria. Massimiliano Allegri decided to keep Giampaolo Pazzini and Cristian Zapata on the bench and Milan simply looked out of ideas in front, with Riccardo Montolivo far from impressive on his official debut, and very shaky at the back with Daniele Bonera and Mario Yepes struggling. The first 45 minutes were miserable for Milan, hardly creating any scoring chances. Pazzini was brought on in the 56′ minute but minutes later Andrea Costa beat Bonera far too easily to head Sampdoria’s winning goal. Milan were trying to equalize afterwards but even luck was against them as they hit the post. Milan’s first game of the season ends in a huge disappointment, Milan played an awful game and the fans have really nothing to be happy about.

Alegri likes to play attacking mids as strikers, center mids as attacking mids, 3 defensive mids at once, and use our 2 backup center backs as first choice

he is too defensive. What happened to his free flowing 4-3-3 from the Cagliari days?

as of today, i see Juve, Inter, Roma, Napoli, Udinese, Fiorentina and maybe Lazio as being stronger than us

true the team is awful, but todays loss was down to allegri. It’s as if he wanted to loose the match; starting with bonera and yepes at the back. He says robinho had a slight problem, my fellow milan fans expect milan to turn into a hospital again this season. Allegri is too physical, milan never had injury problems like this before. Allegri is too rigid, he uses one formation so he’s predictable, and worst of all he prefers physical players. ALLEGRI PLEASE CHANGE this is not english football it’s italian football. We need ball players not worriers.

Lack of creativity, don’t know how to pass the ball, too slow, so predictable. To much depending on montolivo. And always trying to build the play from flanks. Really awful..

Okay,we lost…but I’m pretty much confident this is going to be a wake up call for both the team and management, letting them know there is more to be done than they thought.I can see Allegri is being ridiculed from all corners-because he’s an easy target.Belittle Allegri all you want but it still doesn’t change the fact that, majority of players being given to him are mediocre.

Why cant you guyz be patient for once..we have to support our team even when things isn’t going on well. Every team has good and bad times. Even the “almighty madrid” with bunch of world-class players and a big-mouthed coach lost to Getafe.PSG with Ibra and Silva still 0/3 win. We al know our dearr team isnt in the right shape but i know with time, we’d get back on our feet. i really don’t wan’t to blame allegri or B n G or the players, but i’ll blame the lost on TEAM SPIRIT. Please be patient milanists. FORZAMILAN!!!
