M’BAYE NIANG could become a Milan player this summer as the Rossoneri have made an offer for him.
Milan are back in the Niang track. The player looked set to move to the English Premier League but Milan are looking to sign him as reports in the Italian peninsula suggest Milan have made a bid for him today.
Adriano Galliani had a very busy day, starting with talks about Djamel Mesbah (who could leave for Palermo) and then the negotiations about the Cassano-Pazzini swap but he also met Niang’s agent.
According to Sky and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are interested in signing the player on loan with option to buy him next season. The online portal of the Milano-based newspaper suggests Milan have made a bid for the 17-year-old striker of the Ligue 2 side on Monday – a free loan with a buy-out clause of €3 mil.
Niang visited Milanello earlier this month and said Milan is a place he’s interested in. Niang’s Italy agent, Oscar Damiani, told the press today:”The deal will not be sealed today, maybe in the next few days – who knows? Milan are very interested in the player. Niang is a very strong player, like Mario Balotelli.”It’s unlikely that Caen will accept this Milan offer as they are seeking to earn at least €4m from the sale of the player.
Developments are expected in this area in the next days. In addition to Giampaolo Pazzini, Milan are looking for another striker who in any case will most likely be playing with the Primavera if he arrived now.
