Reports: Ibra considers Milan exit

64

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC is thinking about moving to City or Real, reports in England and Italy indicate.

It’s just the time of the year that rumours about Ibrahimovic start to pop up and also this year there are reports that the former Inter Swede striker can decide to end his adventure before his contract expires.

Ibra joined Milan in the summer of 2010 for €24 million in three installments – the first installment has been paid to Barcelona but there are still two to be delivered. However, apparently, Zlatan can leave Milan.

€255.9 million reasons why Berlusconi is not stingy
Official: Ambrosini pens new deal

il Corriere dello Sport is reporting on Thursday that Jose Mourinho is keen to bring Ibracadabra to the Santiago Bernabeu and has already spoken to Zlatan through text messages. Ibrahimovic, according to the daily Rome-based sports newspaper, will decide on his future within 15 days, before Euro 2012 starts.

According to the English tabloid, The Sun, which is not quite known for being reliable, Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini also wants Ibrahimovic and is ready to offer him a £300,000-a-week deal. Zlatan, 30, apparently told Mancini he wants time to consider it. It’s also reported that Milan value Ibra at £25m.

Denials regarding these reports will surely arrive but it is almost impossible to know what Ibra will end up doing as he has a reputation of a mercenary; he also had differences with the coach in the 11/12 season.

Ibrahimovic won the Capocannoniere title in the past season, scoring 28 league goals for Milan.

Doesn’t matter with all our injuries and the payback we have to FCB that money will just fade away. Besides there is no replacing Ibra. There will be need to have at least two who can do that job Ibra does. Would be fun to see him in EPL though. No more BS calls from the ref for Ibra playing hard.

Transfermarkt has valued Ibra to €40m thats why he is world class, even at his age. Look at the clubs he has played for. It’s insane if you ask me. Just top notch clubs of it’s time and he has won with them all.

If he was equal to that of 2 players we could have easily won Serie A.Ibra actually takes space of 2 people and does only one job. It’s better if he leaves and he won’t last a season or two whether in Italy or England.

@ Gabriel I really don’t know if he won any CL or FIFA player of the year or Ballon D’OR or Serie A player of the year or Copa America or has played 3 World cups and Won one or UEFA most valuable player or European Golden Boot…The list goes on.Since you know more about Ronaldo you should be knowing how sinful it is to compare Ibra to Ronaldo and that too the king of PSV BARCA INTER REAL & Brazil and the world of football.

Macho Blake with your estimates on Ibra the fat Ronaldo was crap both for Milan and Inter. Why, because he never succeeded in winning with them. Only with his NT because they were the best. But Ronaldo wasn’t the best for Inter Barca or Milan. Don’t forget Ronaldo is Ibras idol as Ibra watched his mentor in the Milan jersey as Ibra crushed milan and won the scudetto. Ronaldo was 30 when he was in Milan same age Ibra is now.

That pay City is offering was the same pay City offered Ibra which he declined to before going Milan. Ibra was asked during his presentation i AC Milan about City and the rumored transfer. So I think this is not complete BS.

OK. Let him go. With his price 25m and wages 9m/season, we can build stronger Milan. And imo he makes Milan changing room isnt comfortable, like i always seen on the pitch, he is selfish. Let him go, make more room for others.

Good riddance to bad nonsense. He should take a hike.Ibra is a fantastic player, big, strong, good in the air,can use both feet but he will always remaim a MECENARY.Always disappear during big games.Guess what should he end up @ Realmadrid his ego will clash with Jose or CR7,I can bet my life on that not to talk of City. economical wise, i think it is probably the right time to release him. ibra’s value is reaching the peak after he won the top scorer this season. ibra is a world class player but with him, milan is tactically easy to be tamed. if the idea is real, the best option is a swap deal for tevez. i will acknowledge that galliani is trully a master transfer, if he can bring in tevez & kolarov as a part of the swap deal. pato cannot show his best if he plays with ibra. so someone should be released, either ibra or… Read more »

My opinion :

Ibra = Dzeko/Balo + cash. Ibra salary had very big margin among other player.
Get Kaka from Real, give him 6m per year.
Then get Ogbonna or Astori or Acerbi

Our line up :
Abbiati
Abate-T.Silva-OGBONNA/ASTORI/ACERBIO-Urby
Boateng-Montolivo-Nocerino
KAKA
DZEKO/BALOTELLl/Pato-Casaano

Forza Milan

Ibra Dzeko/Balo +cash ridiculous. No fool will do this kind of trading .Balo is got another 15 years of excellent football if he changes his attitude and Dzeko is the winner of the most watched league EPL and you think he will come cheap.Players from Italy are cheaper than that from England. If you are sure of Ibra getting 50 Mil why don’t we do a straight exchange for FALCAO even he is rated at 50. If Ibra is 50 then if sell Ibra + TSilva we to Barca in exchange of Messi. If we do that with Real we can get… Read more »

I would say that if it happens, use the money on Balotelli/Dzeko + Eriksen/Lucas/Ganso.

Between the 2, I would expect that Pato would be the one to actually leave in this market.

Let the rumor mill begin. I’m sure this is the first Ibra rumor of many this offseason.

If he or Pato (who I expect to be sold) ends up leaving, I hope that we use that money on a younger world-class striker, and an elite midfielder. Otherwise, it would just be a waste.

See some are so willing to selling the leagues best player with such carelessness, Milan do not deserve a world class player like Ibra. Milan screwed Ibra by the empty promises of Berlusconi and Galliani to rebuild Milan. Total waste of Ibras talents and he wasted it on the ungrateful fans like these. Hope Ibra screwes over Milan enough to make them bleed.

Don’t you know that Ibra was in Barca at the time they were becoming the best club in his history.what did he do where did his talent go.Not all clubs will be like Milan to pamper Ibra and accommodate at the cost of other players. He won’t survive a single season in Real.Mou CR7 Ramos Cassilas all have bigger ego than Ibra. Look how long Iker is with RM and nobody is there yet to compete with him,That itself will see Ibra asking for a return to Juve.

guess you have been watching Serie A from the last season .Leo with the old washed out team was still second to Inter and qualified for CL and Allegri with Ibra and his team are still the second after Juve.So what exactly is the difference maybe one season Allegri got us the Serie A title because Inter were in ruins and Juve were biting the dust,Udinese and Napoli were just starting to come out of their shell. This year we didn’t do well because everybody were injured except Ibra. Please gimme a BREAK!!!!!!

sammy

The difference is Ibra played by him self with no support from attack or midfield. Zlatan was the midfield and attack. And no Allegeri didn’t do anything to have a say in the scudetto. He was just as useless as Pep. When they tried to sub they failed, they are tangible to the dime.

This season was even worse with 16 players out in remission and you talk about what was the difference, please get down from your high horse.

Milan hadn’t won a scudetto in 7 years before Ibra. Thiago was already playing at the time like everyone else.

It can be because we didn’t have Pato or Pirlo maybe i am right but my horses are so high that i watching Milan from above on how they did against Top table Serie teams.Oh was my horse too short or No i was level headed enough and watched Ibra nowhere to be seen when it mattered.

If City are serious I say take the money and buy Ganso/Lucas/Hernanes (one of them) and Ogbonna. Pato and El Shaarawy are the future and that team would be much better to watch. Don’t get me wrong Ibra is a great player but he does moan and spit alot! He also can only play in one system it seems which does not give Milan the greatest reputation at the moment. Wouldn’t you prefer this?

It’s true that Ibra is always on the move, but that has nothing to do with Milan’s Failure.
Yesterday losing the CL and the league was Allegri’s Fault, Now everyone is blaming Ibra???????!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even though most of you voted him “Player of the year”!!!

I believe He will stay if the management deliver in their promises when they first sign him. Otherwise, Whatever he decide or where ever he will be I hope he will be a Champion and I wish him Good luck!!!

25mil for him when Milan still owes Barcelona two installments in sum of 16mil for him? I think Ibra should be sold for either bigger money or with compensation, City – Balo/Tevez + Kolarov, Real – Sahin + cash.
It’s Patos time to shine as i believe his problem is more of a psychological, he stopped producing when Ibra came, he doesn’t feel good in his shadow, before he was our main man!

hey ted – the money is owed to barca no matter if we sell him or not… the transfer money is already determined on these liabilities so this shoulnt be determining factor in selling him.. if anything it will relief of his liability and if we can exchange him for a decent player and pay him off then all is well

What i want to say is IF they sell him it should be bigger amount as Milan still owes Barcelona. That’s how we could repay them and use money to buy. U know balance the books and invest in one swing. And i agree on selling him or compensate as i already wrote upstairs

This is not good. You can say that with Ibra we can’t get the CL or maybe Milan is too dependable on Ibra or maybe we should sell him because this is his peak performance so we can get much money..But in fact..he is our goal getter, without Ibra this season, we can’t finish in second place..we can say that, we will buy that or this players to replace Ibra. But Ibra had proved it. I think he is in the same level with Van Basten and Shevchenko. Please…don’t sell him…

Speak to most of Juve or Inter fans and you will know how much they love Ibra playing for Milan. Both being old clubs of Ibra they know what he is even though he has won Serie A championship with both of them. It’s hard to understand how some guys just keep gloating that he is the highest scorer for Milan and without him Milan won’t score so much.Guys please think while you are in the right frame of mind.He gets the maximum wages at Milan. The whole team rally’s around him.Allegri’s most important tactic is PLAY to IBRA.Beside Ibra there… Read more »

BLLA BLLA BLLA! YES WE ARE IBRADEPENDENT! but, do you know why? Ibra is the only player that makes the difference for Milan. Remeber when he was out for the red card and some rest, Milan had a pretty bad run with Pato and El Sharaawy that you hail so much, but forget that they failed so bad. The only reason that Ibrahimovic will leave is that Milan cannot sell Robinho and Pato to gather money to built a strong team to support Ibrahimovic to win the CL. remember the agreement with Galliani.
