Highlights: Milan 2-0 Atalanta

5

MILAN LOOKED better compared to the last games as they took advantage of a Juventus slip-up with a win against Atalanta on Wednesday night. Milan were in control and after nine minutes, an excellent Kevin-Prince Boateng crossed found Sulley Muntari, who made it 1-0 for Milan. Milan continued to push but could not find the net again as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Antonio Cassano were not at their best that day. Milan’s defense held on well in the Atalanta attacks, so il Diavolo managed to score another goal in the final minutes through Robinho who had entered the pitch in the 68′ minute and even found the crossbar. Binho took advantage of the rebound to Ibrahimovic’s incredible free kick effort to head the ball and make it 2-0 Milan at the final whistle. Milan are now -1 from Juventus, with only 2 games left.
