THE 17th week of Serie A has passed; here are the results of all the games and the standings.
Nine goals in two games are very rare in Serie A, but on Saturday that was the case. It started with Lazio’s humiliation against Siena away from home, 4-0, followed by Inter’s big win over Parma at Stadio San Siro.
The goals feast continued in the game between Udinese against Cesena – Toto Di Natale (who else!?) inspired Udinese to a convincing 4-1 victory, and Guidolin remain very close to the top of the Serie A table.

Cagliari and Fiorentina scored three goals each and recorded wins over Genoa and Novara respectively, while Roma defeated Chievo and Bologna took the three points from the game against Catania. League leaders AC Milan beat Atalanta in Bergamo, but Juventus breathe down Milan’s neck with a win over Lecce.
After hitting six goals past Genoa, Napoli’s good form continued with a 3-1 win over Palermo. Napoli are still eight points off a Champions League spot but Mazzari’s boys, led by Cavani and Hamsik, still impress.

tevez has rejected inter saying he will only play beside ibra. i guess that could be the end of robinho. galiani should move quickly and agree a the loan with a mandatory buy clause that city is demanding fir after all, tevez is no gamble and has proven over time that he is a top player. time for milan to reward his loyalty to us. we want him ti start the derby against inter.
I find 2 things very interesting. The first is that Juventes has still not lost a league match. As much as I root against them, that is an impressive accomplishment this far into the season. The second thing is that Napoli has such a large positive goal differential, but is still 10 points off the pace. They must really be beating up on the bottom of the table while keeping it close with those at the top. At least, that would be my interpretation.
