ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC believes Milan are best in Italy and the sky is the limit for them.
Milan are currently top of the table – at least until this evening’s clash between Udinese and Juventus – thanks to a win over Cagliari, in which Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his 11th Serie A goal of the season.
Ibrahimovic played a great deal in Milan’s Scudetto win last year and is in a great form this season. He can now catch his breath during the Christmas break, and says the sky is the limit for Allegri’s Milan.
“We’ll see what happens [in the game between Juventus and Udinese at Stadio Friuli on Wednesday night] but we played our part. Now we have a bit of a break and when we get back we’ll do what we’ve done up until now,” the Swede striker, who got 6.5 in Gazzetta’s ratings and was chosen MOTM, told Milan Channel.
“We have to concentrate on ourselves, if we do what we know we can, we’ll go far. We’re the stronger team [in Italy] and if we don’t slip up, the sky’s the limit.” Ibra also said: “Merry Christmas to all the Milan fans.”
Some il Diavolo players have already left Italy to enjoy the holiday with their family. Milan will meet again on December 29 as they’ll fly to Dubai, UAE, for a training camp and a friendly against Paris-Saint Germain.
