Highlights: A.S. Roma 2-3 AC Milan

105

AC MILAN pulled off a first win at Stadio Olimpico in the last six years on Saturday evening. Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the scoring with a header (17′), but Nicolas Burdisso made it level with a header of his own (28′). Two minutes later, Alessandro Nesta scored a rare goal, you guessed it right – a header! Zlatan made it 3-1 (78′) with yet another header and Bojan Krkic could only reduce (88′) – no header.

I think a 10th-12th place finish is the best Inter can do. But people are seriously overestimating Juventus. They’ll end up just like last season. Starting well, fizzling out… they got away with a lot of lucky deflected goals. That luck won’t last. It’s just that Inter was really bad.

No. Juve is an embarras*ssment. They cannot play a full 90 minutes, and they leave great gaps in concentration. They have been pretty lucky. Juventus is horrible in Europe and have been for a long time. I still remember when Chelsea smashed them. They aren’t an attractive team either.

Next year for another 2 or 3 good players they can do well in CL. If they get a left back (for example: Kolarov), a striker – they will “lose” Amauri, Iaquinta, Toni and maybe Del Piero by next year – (maybe Tevez or so), and another. And they will get back for example Felipe Melo. So Juve will be fine to 2012-13, and will earn at least the 3rd position this year.

I think Juve would do well in the CL, they are fairly young, play with alot of pace and width and have a world class goalie. That can go a long way in the champions league, and like Rossonero 23 said they are clearly the Italian team most willing to spend along with Roma.

Juve is not a strong team. They are a lucky team that play good in bursts and increments… that’s all. I won’t back away from my previous statement about them dropping points. They dodged the bullet today, but they will drop points in the future. Juve traditionally have started the last few seasons quite well then crumble. You could bring up say binho, kpb, shaarawy(who could be kaka’s replacment), cassano an aqua but I feel none of these guys have the natural ability to replace Ricky, (thats excluding shaarawy, as we cant fully judge him yet). If we look at our rivals, say roma have lamela, lazio, have hernanes, napoli have hamsik, an inter have three, schneider, alvarez(who actualy looks like the natural heir to kaka), and countinho.
