AC Milan host Parma F.C. on Wednesday night when the clock points 20:45 at Stadio San Siro, for the ninth matchday of the 2011/2012 Serie A season, and coach Massimiliano Allegri has named his squad.
Gennaro Gattuso, Mathieu Flamini, Clarence Seedorf, Marco Amelia and Alexandre Pato are still injured. Alessandro Nesta is being rested, while Filippo Inzaghi hasn’t been named in the game squad again.

I would love to see this formation but I doubt it, Allegri will surely start with Nocerino and Aquilani or Cassano/Robinho on the bench and play with Prince behind the strikers. And I also don’t think he will start with Mexes, he rather play with Grandpa Yepes (no offense<3), or with the crappiest of them all, Bonera.

Omg how can you even put Yepes name in the same sentence as Nesta? Nesta is the best defender of the year 2000 till now? And if you look at what i wrote you will see that i wrote “no offense to Yepes” because I still think he plays good, compared to Bonera then Yepes is God.

Wow. . . I feel bad for a player lie Pippo. The main reason he came back was for the Champions league. He is recovered and just simply can’t play with so many strikers ahead of him. Face it, Il Faraone need’s minutes too. Pippo, this is your last year, i just wish it could’ve been better for you, but we must move on…

taiwo is not the answer at left back for milan. he doesnt support the attack well enough and tactically he is not very good at reading the game. he needs to improve fast or we will find someone new.

That’s what I’m saying. Taiwo is very attack minded… probably one of the most attack minded left backs out there.
But it seems in the former games he still lacks self confidence. But in the last game it is was very good.
I think if he keeps up on improving he might be become one of the best.
I think his final passes are superb, better than Abare. We should give him a chance

Taiwo is definitely the answer for leftback. As far as defensive abilities he is decent. But his overlapping ability is great. Glad to see Nesta rested and Silva back. 🙂
Bless ur heart kenny… Taiwo’s problem has always been his inability to track bck when he strays forward, which he is decent at. His judgement on some tackles too re rather questionable. I believe tassoti can fix this. Heck, he can fix any1 buh antonini.
Most great fullbacks don’t defend much. As far as Antonini I still don’t understand what happen to him… he was good under Leo… maybe he should have left with Leo lol.

Guys, give time to Anto, his performance against Lecce was the first bad one so far this season. He is argubaly our second best defender after Silva (Sandro is not the same anymore). Besides, Taiwo is great at shooting and crossing so I don’t think we have problems with the left back. I guess Abate needs a better alternativie than aging Zambrotta or Bonera and De Sciglio would be the right choice. And yes, Ambro is finished, but MvB needs rest. Antonini? Taiwo needs to start over him. As I said before… Antonini is a utility player and should remain one. A bench player. Zambrotta has returned too. So even he could play at LB.
Seedorf can be a very valuable substitute.. take my word on that one.

My pick is Abbiati, Abate, Mexes, Silva, Taiwo, Ambrosini at anchor, Nocerino, Aquilani, Boateng, Cassano, Ibrahimovic. Subsitutes = Emanuelson, El Sharaawy, Antonini.
We forget Roma also will be playing 72 hours later and also will have to rotate against Genoa tomorrow. Milan are not alone in this problem.

Take Frank Lampard for example,he lost form since last season yet AVB still carved out way of starting despite signing JUAN MATA who has been creating goals for them since joing Chelsea.
There is no way Ambrosini,Seedorf,Zambrota even bonera will not play for Milan from now till june.
Its an impossibility.
Taiwo is as much a bench player so far as Anto. He might have more talent but he needs to show it on regular basis, because BATE Borisov is not really a match for any player’s real quality.

What does that mean he’s as much a bench player as Antonini? Taiwo was a starter for his previous team, and showed his talent numerous times. What on earth has Antonini done? He’s a bench utility player. Taiwo is not. Taiwo needs to start.

Who said they will not play? Many of them will be substitutes, like Seedorf. And we have some players that simply don’t start, so I will dispute that.
I don’t think Milan can afford Dede he might be very expensive,South American players are getting too much expensive.We have been chasing Ganso for almost 2 years and nothing have come out of it.

I am not a big Fan of Antonini,but i think he is decent enough.
Taiwo should improve on his defencive abililties.

Boateng deserve to play behind a strikers,i think that is not necessary to explain.Robinho isnt deserve to play in first starting line up,because last gane was awful.Yepes was fabtastic in last match in second half so he deserve.About taiwo,this is perfect match for him.For his mentality and confident.
