ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC makes 9 million a year, Pato 4 million and Abate 2 mil. Find out more here!
Do you know how much your favourite players earn every year? Well now you can know as La Gazzetta dello Sport published today, like in every year, the club-by-club & player-by-player yearly wages charts.
Milan are known for doing great deals in a good price, but you may find it surprising that Milan are the team that spends the most money on wages (approximately €160m a year!) among the peninsula clubs.
Inter come second to Milan, spending around €145m on salaries every year. For comparison, Napoli, the team that finished third last season and are considered a serious Scudetto contender this year, spend €41.2m on yearly wages, while Juventus spend €100m. Roma and Lazio complete the top 6 “spenders.”
Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the highest paid footballer in Italy, making €9 million a year. Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon and Inter excellent playmaker Wesley Sneijder are behind Ibra, making €6 million.
