AC MILAN have won the friendly game against Calcio Como thanks to Ambro & Urby goals.
As the new Serie A season has gone on strike, Milan arranged a friendly game to stay fit and gain more match fitness as the 2nd (1st) week of the league is approaching as well as the game against Barcelona.
With many absences, including new signings Alberto Aquilani and Antonio Nocerino who are with Cesare Prandelli’s Italy on international duties, and some injured players, Milan took the field on Thursday.
Stephan El Shaarawy started as a second striker alongside the impressive Primavera forward Kingsley Boateng, with the older Boateng, Kevin-Prince Boateng behind them. El Shaarawy showed what he’s capable of as in the 22′ minute, he moved into the penalty box, and assisted Massimo Ambrosini’s opener.
It took Como 2 minutes to find the equalizer and the first half ended with 1-1 on the scoreboard. Eleven minutes into the 2nd half, K. Boateng fell in the box and Urby Emanuelson’s converted the pen, and won it.
Good game for El Shaarawy, who played 67 minutes. Gianluca Zambrotta got a standing ovation from the local fans as Como is his hometown. A positive result for Milan, but not much can be said about it.
