Borriello “will be redeemed” by Roma

MARCO BORRIELLO will not go back to Milan, says his agent.

Reports in Italy suggested that Marco Borriello could be back at Milanello next season after failing to convince the chiefs of Roma, in the second half of the season particularly.

The on-loan striker is now a bench player under Roma boss Vincenzo Montella, but yet he claims that he’d love to stay in the Italian capital even if Montella remains in charge of the team.

The 28-year-old’s agent, Tiberio Cavalleri is certain that Borriello will stay at Roma.

“What I can say is that there is an agreement between Rome and Milan,” Cavalleri told calciomercato.it. “The player will be redeemed. As for Juventus and other rumors. I have nothing to say.”

This is great news. I’m glad Borriello and Ronaldinho left Milan. We dont need Borriello. He can go to Genoa for all I care.

One of the things I strongly agree with you on. We have too many dinho fan boys around here… I wish they would just leave and go support Flamengo… lol.

Borriello is a good striker, but not a world class. Pato, Ibrahimovic, Robinho and Cassano are world class in attack. So he should be sold out, and have to get for him as much money as possible. And for that money, we can get a good midfilder. Marco is a bit overrated.

Why would we take him back and sell him right away when we’ve already sold him and are waiting for Roma to pay up at the end of the season?

Also, keep in mind we got 6M from the sale of Ricardo Olivera a few weeks ago.

16M could be a great replacement. Let’s spend it right.

His celebration against us was enough for me not to want him back. He’s 29 years old, nothing special… only has 10 goals for Roma… and faded badly… why bring him back? Plus he sucks as a substitute.

Cassano is not world class.

Borrielo never lived up to expectation in milan after he returned from genoa and i feel that after that long term injury he had in milan durin the 08/09 season he declined significantly. He’s very strong, he used to be very agile, possesed a powerful left foot shot, very athletic, good at occupying more than 1 centre half during a match, if you watched him while he was at genoa, you’ll confirm all these qualities that i’m talking about. After that long term injury in 08/09 season, his qualities declined alot, he became sluggish, he couldn’t shoot powerfully again, though… Read more »

WE don’t need the money to buy Ibra. That is Berlusconi’s money. Does Berlusconi need money? Didn’t think so.
