LUIGI DELNERI thinks only time will tell whether Milan can challenge Inter or not.
AC Milan have signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Kevin-Prince Boateng and few other players during the summer, but Juventus coach Delneri is not yet convinced they can fight Inter.
“Milan brought great champions, that nobody has imagined, but only time will tell who was right and who wasn’t,” the former Sampdoria boss told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Milan to sign 27-year-old free agent?
Report: Milan to sign “the new Lucio” in January
“I remember that a year ago, everyone was praising Juventus for their transfer campaign. After the first game it seemed they were able to compete with Inter, and we all know how it ended.”
Milan beat Lecce 4-0 on the opening day of the Serie A. Next week they will be playing newly promoted side A.C. Cesena and then Ibra and Binho are expected to have their debut.

I Agree but think delneri has forgotten this is milan not juve.. i think another 4-0 against cesena will do FDL
Yeah, Juve bought a lot of great players last season but then what? they choose a bad role for Diego and Melo. And i don’t think Milan this season will suffer the same fate like Juve. Cause there’s a lot of great champion in Milan like Dinho, Pato, Nesta, Pirlo, Silva, etc. In Juve? they only had Buffon and Del Piero to hang on. So Del Neri, i suggest you to think your own problem after Bari kick you all in the ass!
I agree with “Master”. They used Diego in a wrong position, Of course it didn’t help that Iaquinta was injured, Cannavaro was useless and they had two off form morons in Zebina and Grosso at full back! Not to mention, the insane Felipe Melo who definitely has mental issues!
We have an amazing squad with leaders like Pirlo, Nesta and Ambrosini. The team has character and can play completely different tactics as opposed to Juve. If it wasn’t for champions like Del Piero and Buffon, Juve would not even be in Serie A now!
If I couldn’t make it to the top 4 and got beaten in both games by milan last season I would do my best to shut up. We don’t know if milan can hold a candle to inter. But all I know is that juve cant hold a candle to champions league
tell him to mind his JUVE,business and not OUR PROPERING MILAN BUSINESS…….fonza milano
ha you got beaten by Bari so shhhhhhhhhhh
Ha3 lose to bari? what a shame…
