GIANLUCA ZAMBROTTA is tied to Milan until 2012.

After Massimo Oddo, there is Zambrotta (33). The veteran Italian has signed a new contract, which ties him to AC Milan until 2012, as confirmed today by the official site of AC Milan.

The official statement on acmilan.com reads: “A.C. Milan communicate that Gianluca Zambrotta has extended his contract until June 30, 2012.”

Zambro has told during the World Cup that he’s not finished and has still a lot to give and now he has further two years to prove that he’s worthy of a place within Milan.

It is believed that like Oddo, Zambrotta has taken a wages-cut. Oddo now earns €1.5 million per-year, but it’s still unknown how much would the right-back/left-back earn.
