DIEGO ALVES is honored to know Milan want him as he feels that he’s ready for them.

The Brazilian 24-year-old goalkeeper has been linked with Serie A giants Juventus and AC Milan, but he has admitted the he thinks about Milan more than about the Old Lady.

The Rossoneri are looking for a new first-choice goalkeeper and have been linked with Cagliari ‘keeper Federico Marchetti lately as all Christian Abbiati, Nelson Dida, Marco Storari and Flavio Roma are apparently set to leave.

Marchetti is ‘not thinking about Milan’
Galliani: Milan are relying on youngsters

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Alves told: “I am honoured to know that one of the strongest clubs in the world is thinking of me. I think that Milan are like a second home to any Brazilian.

“I have played alongside Ronaldinho at the Olympic Games. He is out of this world. I am ready to take him on in training. And I’m ready for Milan.”

Alves joined Almeria in 2007 from Clube Atlético Mineiro. The Rio de Janeiro-born ‘keeper recorded 90 official appearances since then.

here what Milan should do:
1. Buy Alves if Marchetti wouldn’t come.
2. Send Marco Storari to Samp for 5mil.
3. Release Dida.
4. Keep Abbiati.

wah

Good goalkeeper. I think we should buy him this summer. Though Allegri would prefer Marchetti. Either of these goalkeepers would agree to be a second-choice.

saj

good player. could be our next who-ever-was-a-good-goalkeeper-in-the-last-years

Abbotes

The problem is we can’t get both Marchetti and Alves cause one of them will have to be second ‘keeper and that’s wouldn’t be accepted by either side. I think Marchetti is a big better but Alves is younger. We’ll need to see who’s cheaper

Gorga

Hope this is realized.. Cmon berlu and galliani, buy this guy to reinforce, abbiati become second, sell dida, storari and roma. Forza Milan!!

TAY

GOOD NEWS!

Kokorin

hope we’ll sign him though Marchetti is more reliable option I believe…

Milanista

Hmmmm. Based on this year’s performance, Diego is a better option…..but I want an Italian, so Marchetti. We are going for too many Brazilians of late. I don’t want to turn into another Inter.
