THIAGO SILVA could make his return much earlier than initially expected according to medicals he underwent today at Milanello.
The Brazilian center back limped out of the Letzigrund stadium against FC Zurich a week ago. The first reports suggested Silva had suffered a calf strain and would be spending two months out of action.
However, the 23-years-old Brazilian took an x-ray examination and it has ruled out any long-term injury spell. The play runs and trained by himself today but could feature alongside Nesta already this Saturday.

“The Brazilian defender has started running again, doing differentiated work. In the next few days his conditions will be evaluated in view of a possible availability for the match in Florence.”
