Gilardino Wants To Be Prepared Against AC Milan

ALBERTO GILARDINO is looking for three points against his former side, as he wants to prove the Viola are still a top team despite late difficulties.

The Italian striker has scored seven goals so far this season, but his duty with Italy has proved his worth as he saved the national team more than once with some amazing late-minute goals.

Gila had a spell with the Rossoneri but then moved to Fiorentina where he maintained his spot as big-scoring machine. However, those abilities did not help his side last week when lost to Chievo 2-1.

Medical: Silva Could Be Back In Time For Fiorentina Clash

“We know where and what we did wrong at Chievo, we know what to correct to arrive prepared to the Milan clash and it will be a way to end the year well,” the 27-years-old former Parma told.

“We knew that we were going to Verona with various injuries, with some players not at their best: some had the fever and some had muscular problems.

“We were notat the top, but this cannot be an alibi, also because we had taken the lead and things could have gone better for us.”

Gilardino is wonderful in the last time. At Italy, he shines. Great player, how Milan gave him up!?!

Fiorentina match will be tough. They will do their home-works ahead of it so Leonardo must surprise.
