Real Madrid Players Enjoy Milan Defeat

REAL Madrid are the first in group C of the Champions League, after beat both FC Zurich and Olympique de Marseille in the first and the second rounds. However, the next game of the Blancos is against AC Milan and the Galacticos superstar feel more confidence due to Milan fiasco.

While Real Madrid scored three goals against French side Marseille, Milan struggle against a team who wasn’t supposed to be a competition to AC Milan, but the result showed different as Milan lost 0-1 to FC Zurich.

After the winning of the Blancos on Wednesday night, Ricardo Kaka asked about AC Milan result. However, Kaka, who left Milan earlier this summer, believes there is only good at this point.

The Brazilian, who promised not to celebrate against Milan if he scored, thinks that the most important thing is staying in the first place, and the rest, like Milan, is not important.

“For us it was very good that they lost, because we are first in the group with two games to come against Milan. Qualifying and topping the group now depends on us. It is very important to top the group,” Kaka declared to the press.

Kaka scored his third goal in Real’s uniforms yesterday, and his second penalty-shootout. Kaka fills in very well at Madrid, like Xabi Alonso, who believes that Milan defeat helped them a lot, as one of the main contenders are not performing well.

“Milan’s defeat helps us on our way to the next round. To be group leaders with a three-point cushion is excellent, but there is still a long way to go,” a shocked Alonso was quoted as saying by Madrid’s official website.
