AC Milan January hit-list getting fuller

AC Milan didn’t work too hard in the transfer market during the summer, but it seems like the real market will start on January, as many names are coming up

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar maybe sealed Milan summer market, but January will be different as reports suggesting Milan are ready to invest more money. The names are already starting to come up now, even though Milan know there is nothing they can do before the winter transfer market. reported this morning, that Palermo’s Simon Kjaer could be on his way to the Rossoneri or the Old Lady should he repeats his wonderful performance from last season. Kjaer, 20, is considered to one of the best young players in the Serie A and it’s just a matter of time until one of the big teams buy him.

However, despite this face, Palermo are not letting him go as they say he’s the main factor for the success in the league (8th last season). The 20-years-old Danish center back has plenty to earn in such a club like AC Milan, as for career, and for bank account. Juventus and Milan are ready to offer a very decent bid for him.

Another name is Empoli’s Riccardo Saponara. Saponara has been watching closely by AC Milan and Sampdoria, but reported from today added that also Atalanta found interest in the 17-years-old, who signed at Empoli last year from Ravenna, and had some impressive displays during this spell.

The old names were mentioned today as well, such as Rafinha, Gareth Bale and David Beckham. The trio has been all linked individually with AC Milan this summer, for a move that takes place on the winter transfer window.

AC Milan coach Leonardo, has been left with a problem in the left-back position following Paolo Maldini’s decision to retire. At the time, Marek Jankulovski is playing in this position. The Tottenham’s 21-years-old finds it hard to perform at his club following a very tough competition, but Leo wants him.

At the other side of the defense, Milan have Gianluca Zambrotta. The Italian is doing well but he’s not getting younger. Milan tried to land the Schalke 04’s 24-years-old right-back but failed to do so for €11m. The Brazilian was very close to join Juventus this summer, but the deal wasn’t completed.

David Beckham is 99.9% back at San Siro this January, after all his agent, Beckham, and Galliani all approved the move is close to be through, plus La Gazzetta Dello Sport suggested the move is already secure; all we need is to wait. However, no official comment has been made for this situation.

Kjaer is good, he will be better. David will probably return. Rafinha & Bale – we can’t be sure…
