AC Milan have broke a new record: four consecutive defeats in pre-season as the first round of the ‘Audi Cup’ totaled with a win to Manchester United over Boca Juniors and himiliating 4-1 deafeat for the Rossoneri today at the Allianz Arena, Munich, Germany

AC Milan pre-season is managing for 10 days now and the Rossoneri didn’t win even one time so far. Three defeats at the US against Club America, Chelsea and one painful lost against Inter. The fourth came today (local time) and it was against Bayern Munich.

Even though Kalac was sitting on the bench for the whole time, the Rossoneri found four balls in the net and there’re all belong to German giants who were without French star Frank Ribery. Only one break through to the Italian side but this is better than nothing is.

Leonardo upped with 4-4-2 formation, used the energetic Ignazio Abate on the right wing with Ronaldinho supporting Pato but although the game tactic was changed, this didn’t help AC Milan to get a better result in this game.

Match story

Milan who played in the away shirt were totally off the game, Bayern were the team to control the game since is started until its end, Milan seemed really tried and it understandable as this is the fifth game of the Rossoneri in the last 10 days and this is nuts.

Bayern took the lead first when Muller got the ball when he is a short-range from the goal following a great double-pass between two of his teammates. Muller tricked experienced defender Alessandro Nesta and scored. When 12 minutes were on the clock, Bayern leaded by one.

Hamit Altintop then sent the ball to Jose Ernesto Sosa who found Muller in the open space, the ball arrived to Muller who hit the ball but could not find the net.

Bayern striker Mario Gomez could double their lead in a row of occurrences but was unable to put the finishing touch to another team-move which also involved Philipp Lahm and Muller. After Gomez missed-out, the clock pointed on 3o minutes.

The first-half was all Bayern’s. Gomez continued to prominent, tried to cross but didn’t find the target as the ball arrived to Nesta who sent the ball away. The minutes after those included many situations for the German club but the balls were prevented from getting into the net.

Lucky AC Milan, but for how much long?

Before the half-time AC Milan Favalli was in one-on-one situation against the keeper, but the lines-referee rule this move as offside, the Rossoneri had the perfect chance to get back into this game after almost disappeared.

In the last minutes of the game Bayern continued to swoop on AC Milan who were suffered from the USA tour. A tour that ended when Milan are in last place after three defeats in a row.

Half time: Gattuso replaced Jankulovski and Marco Borriello took Ronaldinho place who was really weak. At the German club, new coach Van Gaal did only one substitution, Bastian Schweinsteiger replaced with Edson Braafheid.

Schweinsteiger inspired Gomez to another scoring chance but the German striker shot that ball just wide of Marco Storari goal, Gomez’s unsuccessful chance turned into an almost own goal of Thiago Silvo as he cut out low cross sent from Bayern Munich right-back Philipp Lahm leg.

Bayern continued to dominate the game. Martin Demichelis headed over the crossbar, but the ball just passed everyone, as they’re looking on the ball on his way out.

Crazy defense + poor keeper gave Bayern the second goal as with an impressive individual skills, Schweinsteiger left Gennaro Gattuso, Massimo Oddo and Kakha Kaladze all on the floor before hit the ball from 15 yard towards Storari goal who jumped too late. 80 minutes are on the clock – Bayern 2 – Milan 0.

The next 10 minutes were full of interesting occurrences, starting from on the 81 minute when Milan got a free kick that taken by Andrea Pirlo. With a mistake of the keeper who pushed the ball to the roof and perhaps made it an own goal, Andrea Pirlo decided 2-1 to the German club.

But the last voices were German’s as young substitute Sene, making his debut with Bayern senior team, scored the third goal when seven minutes only passed from Pirlo break through. A bad save by Storari to Gomez’s shoot left Sene along and he scored.

The four goals has been completed one minute later. Muller dragged the ball into the net following Alexander Baumjohann’s cross.
