AC Milan are taking no risks in this transfer market – they are 100 percent sure they want to add a striker, as Dzeko deal is in advanced process, however, if Dzeko move fall through, Milan will offer for Arsenal’s Emmanuel Adebayor and Sevilla’s Luis Fabiano.
Vice president Adriano Galliani confirmed Milan have yet attempted to sign Emmanuel Adebayor from Arsenal this summer. Adebayor, who did not had such a good season, been offered to Milano, Inter and Milan both, as reported on Wednesday, in order to prevent Chelsea from getting the player.
Galliani do admits the Rossoneri are discussing with the north London club, but denied being offer the Togo star. While Milan are in though fighting on Wolfsbutg’s Edin Dzeko, it appears that they might drop their intentions in the Bosnian striker and will turn to Emmanuel Adebayor and Sevilla’s Luis Fabiano.
Edin is Milan’s no. 1 target and they do work hard to get him into their hands, however, his club is not letting him leave though he already said his dream is to play at Milan. The reports today reporting Die Wölfe are looking for replacement to Dzeko, well, so do AC Milan.
“We are only looking for a forward, and our aim is Dzeko,” AC Milan club administrator Adriano Galliani told the Italian media today.”He is a Wolfsburg player, and they have a right to keep him – even though he continues to claim that his desire is to come to Milan.
“From experience, I know it’s difficult to keep a player whose wish is to leave. If we fail to get Dzeko then (Sevilla striker) Luis Fabiano could be an alternative – as could Adebayor,” Gallaini said. The Rossoneri chief said he talked with Arsenal a few times about Adebayor, but nothing more than talks.
“We had a meeting with (Arsenal coach Arsene) Wenger, but they didn’t offer him [Adebayor] to us,” said Galliani.”Had they done that, we would have entered talks.”
Fabiano already said his dream is to play for Milan someday, but his agent says Milan do not have the money for him as his price is something around the €30m.
