ROSSONERIBLOG.COM’s Meytar Zeevi checks what have we learned from this defeat, as AC Milan are looking to make another revolution at Old Trafford next month.
AC Milan hosted Manchester United F.C. this Tuesday and lost. As known, this match started in a very optimism point of view, starting with Ronaldinho’s goal in the second minute.
But, sleepy defense, combined with confused midfield and miserable center forward, lost the game for the Rossoneri, as Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney were on the scoresheet, as well as Clarence Seedorf, to make it 2-3 at the end.

AC Milan 2-3 Man United: Rooney Punishes Unlucky Rossoneri
Few days after the decisive clash, RossoneriBlog.com’s Meytar Zeevi, went on to check what the fans of football could understand after watching Milan versus Man United.
RONALDINHO IS STILL WORLD CLASS
The Brazilian midfielder was in amazing form against Manchester United. The best player on pitch, well not for sure, but the most entertaining one and there is no doubt about it. ‘Dinho handled perfectly with his matchup, Rafael, and succeeded in line of great tricks. His goal, however, was much unexpected and was caused due to a defensive mistake, after The Red Devils’ player was trying to cut off the ball, which arrived right to Ronaldinho, who perfectly laid it into the net. The 29-year-old also had a handful part in the second goal, when assisted greatly to Seedorf. The Dutchman only just touched with the ankle, and made it 2-3 to keep some hope at Milan. Ronaldinho is among the top players again, but he will have to take more responsibly, and actually, play Kaka in these moments, because this Milan, need a new leader.

MILAN NEED NEW DEFENDERS
The defense of Milan was one of the worst this season and this is to say about all the members, well, maybe not about Bonera and Antonini. Luca Antonini picked up an injury which somewhat knocked out Milan. Replacement Giuseppe Favalli just couldn’t handle the speed and movement of Nani and then of Valencia. Center backs Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Silva were somewhat sleepy in the third goal scored by Wayne Rooney, as they just didn’t predict, like should had, the cross that landed just on the Englishman’s head and there are to say, finished the story of Milan in Champions League this season. The Rossoneri must reinforce in the summer, by getting more fullbacks, fast fullbacks, and be competitive again.

DIDA IS A FLOP
Not everyone understood why Carlo Ancelotti benched Nelson Dida last season, as giving Christian Abbiati the first team shirt. The match against Manchester and the goal of Paul Scholes in particularly, showed what Dida is not getting the call of Dunga, or deserved to be a first team goalkeeper. In this spoken goal, everyone of you, dear readers would stop the ball, but Dida decided to take few more seconds, and then jump without purpose, when the ball, which went through in a very slow way, just passed the line and took the United back into this game. Unless this goal very late in the first half, The Red Devils would never come back from the sepulchre and probably would not win the game. Dida is to blame, the days of ‘Oh Dida’ have returned.

PATO IS NOT OLD ENOUGH
With all due respect to il Duck, Alexandre Pato is just not enough, not good enough, not smart enough, not old enough, to carry a great club like AC Milan. Pato has amazing qualities, but this match seemed to show that he is just not ready for the big games. So right, he scored a double against Real Madrid in the group stage, but he has a lot to learn before claiming his place among the top players in the world. Alexandre missed a great chance to score with the head, but headed it just wide. In those moments, you know that Filippo Inzaghi, the veteran striker would put it into the net, it was a goal if Pippo was there. Pato is the best youngster in the world, no doubt about it, in age of 20 he is in a great form, but he must grow up and mature in order to be a truly great player. Hopefully, he will take a crash course from Inzaghi’s so he will be ready for Old Tarfford trip.

SEEDORF STILL TOP, HUNTELAAR ALWAYS FLOP
The Dutchman midfielder was very good in the little time he played. Clarence Seedorf is not just considered as one of the most dangerous attacking midfielders in the world of football, in vain. The veteran added the right spirit to Milan in the final minutes, and kept the Rossoneri somehow in the game with his ankle. Seedorf was benched after a setback in the ability. But, he showed that even though his age he’s got something in his feet and can decide matches. The Dutchman striker, however, has mentioned once again why Marco Borriello deserved a place in the starting 11. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar had a golden-chance to finish the story when was one-on-one with United goalkeeper Edwin van der sar, and just missed it. He could claim bad luck but really, no one cares as some players may see him, along with Dida, the reasons of Milan loss.

Agreed. RONALDINHO IS THE BEST PLAYER IS THE WORLD!!
You are so right…
1. Ronaldinho is great again.
2. The defense did look all sleepy.
3. Dida is not good enough.
4. Pato is very good, but must mature.
5. Seedorf is top, Huntelaar flop
I find it hard to agree about Alexandre Pato. The young Brazilian has had a great match, but missed the golden chance. Inzaghi missed tons at the end, and Thiago Silva as well. Milan need defenders and strikers1!
Forza Milan!! Ronadlinho the best!
I hope we’ll beat Man United 0-3 away like in the last time…! Forza AC Milan!! I hate Rooney. Bring new defenders and strikers PLEASE!!
Great view. A little late, but it’s never mind…
Pato was good but I expected more. Roonie was amazing. Rafael just couldn’t do anything. Pirlo, however, was confused. Forza Milan!! Hunter should be played against smaller teams, Inzaghi should started and bring someone (NOT DZEKO)!
Seedorf is the best. Forza Milan!! I hope history will repeat and we beat United 0-3 again, even though it’s very hard to even think about it. Milan will be scaled again against Bari and then we’ll see what is the outcome of a hard work…
Ronaldinho was very good.
The defense must improve.
Milan must but a new goalkeeper or let Abbiati.
Pato must grow up.
Play Seedorf More, Huntelaar is a flop.
Roonie is the best. I LOVE YOU!!
I liked the photos very very much. The entire aricle was very good. Good job…! Forza Milan! I hope we’ll manage to win next time…
lol @Wah
I agree, and no Dzeko plz.
Uay,
I agree with you 100%
