THE former Roma coach and today’s Sky’s commentator, Luciano Spalletti backs Milan coach Leonardo, as he believes Leo has what it takes to be a good coach.

Spalletti has recently resigned as Roma coach. The Italian experienced coach led the Giallorossi for four year, but he decided that’s enough. However, many teams want him.

While reports suggest Spalletti and FC Zenit are close to sign a deal, Spalletti reveals that a move is possible, and he has no limited time to give back an answer.

As he has returned from St. Petersburg, where he met the leaders of Zenit, he talked about the private meeting he had, but also gave his say over AC Milan coach Leonardo, who may see the exit-door soon.

“AC Milan are a great team and Leonardo will learn the situation. He is intelligent person and he will find the right solutions,” says the 50-years-old to the press.

Also the former Milan coach, Alberto Zaccheroni believes Leonardo still needs more time and he should be given that. Milan and Leonardo, who pulls the reins, opened the league not on the best side, however, Zaccheroni, who led Milan into a Scudetto at 1999, believes that Time = Results.

“Leonardo is like [Alexandre] Pato. He is young, and so patience is needed. When a coach is having his first experience, then results will arrive a little late,” Zaccheroni told the press.

“I don’t think Milan are in crisis. The championship is still long,” added the 56-years-old.
