Berlusconi: 72-years-old, two times Italy prime-minister, and since 1985 - AC Milan owner
The Italian billionaire and Italy prime-minister Silvio Berlusconi has maintained his trust in Leonardo, and continue to build Ronaldinho more self-esteem
In an unexpected decision (to my taste), Silvio Berlusconi does not level criticism at his team’s coach, Leonardo. On the contrary, AC Milan owner believes in Leo. Apparently, the coach will not be going home soon, like former Roma coach Luciano Spalletti did today after four years with the club.
Following AC Milan bitter defeat against most hated rival Inter Milan, the Rossoneri coach was expected to get reproach from all sides, but everyone just feel sorry for him. Also Berlusconi, who is said to have difference of opinion with Leonardo, understands he needs time, as he has no experience whatsoever.
The Italian politician, invest almost nothing in the transfer window. Despite Leo asked for wider squad for this season, all he was getting is a star moving out, and a Dutchman who didn’t play so much at his former team. Plus, Leo needs to work Ronaldinho, who can play only one good match in a month.
"I am convinced with Leonardo. He is a new coach, and so he needs some time," Berlusconi told reporters during a visit to Poland. "As for Ronaldinho, he can make this team win."
