FILIPPO INZAGHI has secured himself further year in Rossoneri colors.
The Italian veteran will get the chance to break Marco van Basten goal-record at Milan, as he signed today, Friday, a contract extension that would see him playing with the Rossoneri also in season 2010/2011.
A statement on acmilan.com revealed that “Super Pippo” renewed his contract. It reads: “A.C. Milan announces that the footballer Filippo Inzaghi has extended his contract until June 30, 2011.”
Agent: Ronaldinho Stays
Pato Committed To Milan
Some reports suggested Inzaghi will leave the club at the end of the season and will move to Parma FC, but Adriano Galliani, who promised him that if Milan reach third spot, lived up for his promise and extended his contract.
The 36-year-old joined Milan from Juventus in 2001, and since then scored 70 goals in 184 official appearances.
