ALESSANDRO NESTA adds more misery to Milan, as the situation of his knee had been examined and he will be missing for 45 days only if surgery isn’t needed.
The Italian defender had been suggested to face a season-ending knee injury, but after Nesta was sent on Friday to Rome in order to take checks in Villa Stuart at professor Mariani.
However, a respected specialist, Professor Piero Volpi has said that the veteran will be able to come back on the pitches soon than expected.

“In my opinion, he could return to the field, without surgery, in 45 days,” Volpi explained to Sky Sports.
“I haven’t seen the lad or the X-rays, but I saw that he was available until the morning of the match against Manchester and is not using crutches or limping, so it may not be broken.”
The official site of AC Milan has released a statement, suggesting that the situation of Nesta will be followed and will be taken again in 48 hours. These checks will be important to understand the damage.
“A.C. Milan announces that the decisions about the therapy that the footballer Alessandro Nesta will follow, will be taken within the next 48 hours,” it reads.
If does return in 45 days, Nesta will be available for the match against Fiorentina, Genoa, and Juventus.
