Milan to invest Huntelaar should Pirlo leaves for Chelsea

Pizarro: Will Milan take him?

Pizarro: Will Milan take him?

Reports claiming that the Rossoneri have already chosen their finalists: Luis Fabiano and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. However the reports favor to believe Huntelaar would be the WINNER if Andrea Pirlo leaves AC Milan this summer in order to join Chelsea

AC Milan rejected Chelsea’s £7m plus Claudio Pizarro in exchange to Andrea Pirlo last week but reports were claiming today [Sunday] that Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti ordered to increase the bid following Adriano Galliani’s comments last night who said the lastest offer was just not enough.

This morning the newspapers in both Italy and England agreed a new bid have shown up. Chelsea have reportedly offered £16m only or £10m plus Claudio Pizarro. Although this fact reached an agreement in both countries, the Italian and England sides predict otherwise about what Milan’ll do.

The English newspaper The Mail on Sunday claims Milan would only agree to the deal if Pizarro is part of the deal, which means choose offer no. 2. But all the Italian newspapers believe that Pizarro is just ‘over-weight’ and Milan would take the first option and invest the money on their real targets.

One of the real targets is Klaas-Jan Huntelaar who been given to Milan as first preference, which means Real Madrid would not be considering any other offers before Milan will make a move for him. Milan did a loan-move before but it rejected, then, Stuttgart made a permanent-move that rejected as well.

According to the Spanish Marca, Real are preparing to release the former Ajax man for £9m, this is a sum Milan can handle with also without selling Pirlo, however this is significantly less than what Sevilla asking for their man, Luis Fabiano who is believed to worth £18m tops.

Milan would like to bring new faces to San Siro before next Monday, when they will meet Benfica Lisbon for a friendly match. The fans are already angry following this poor pre-season and they will be even madder if they’ll see Milan sold Pirlo and did nothing with the money, like with Kaka sell.

The pre-season is continue for Milan and after five consecutive defeats they’ll face Benfica, then the Trofeo TIM against Inter and Juventus on 14 August, after that there is a another match against Juventus in the Trofeo Berlusconi on August 17 and Kaka’s Real Madrid on August 25.
