Milan are in a chase to get Gareth Bale’s ink as reports telling they will offer a bid to Tottenham next week

Milan are been looking for a striker and a defender for the all summer; Klaas-Jan Huntalaar has signed and the Rossoneri can make a ‘tick’ aside the striker position. However, attacking left-back still needed and Milan have identified two potential options from two different leagues.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports on Tuesday that Milan have narrowed their targets to two players: Lazio outcast Lorenzo De Silvestri and Tottenham Hotspur LB, Gareth Bale. De Silvestri has been linked with a move to Fiorentina but it appears Milan are holding talks as well, and the player wants to see what he can get.

As for Bale, it’s only rumors, no real offer has been made so far. However, according to today’s reports, Spurs are asking around £11m (€13m) for Gareth Bale, and Leonardo, who seems eager to strengthen the defense, could answer this demand.

At the Italian side, Milan will offer around £6million (€8m), plus the services of Massimo Oddo, who been kicked out Lazio in 2007 following a row with the club’s president, or Ignazio Abate services in order to get De Silvestri to the squad.

The defense gets C- in pre-season, slow and make mistakes. However an addition like Gareth Bale or De Silvestri would add fresher and younger look to the old defense Milan are holding right for today. Could Milan complete one of those signing or even both? The time is the only one who can tell…
