LEONARDO said that he would think about the market only at the end of the season, as talking up Milan target Mario Yepes and former Rossonero Kaka, who’s now at Real Madrid.
Yepes, 34, has been rumored with an approach with the Rossoneri of late after the injury of Alessandro Nesta made Milan think about the defensive role and which players are able to replace Nesta should he gets injured again.
Despite his old age, Mario still delivers good quality. His price is very low, again, for his age. There were rumors that the Colombian will join Milan in summer, but Milan Coach Leonardo says he know nothing about a deal with him.

“I’m not close to the market operations of Milan and I don’t know if this deal advanced, personally I concentrate on the 10 games which remain until the end of the season and I will think about next year later,” Leo said.
“However, I believe that Yepes is a good player, he’s the captain of the Colombian national team and is doing well at Chievo like we saw on Sunday against us.”
The Brazilian Coach then talked about Kaka. The 27-year-old has left Milan in the summer for Spanish Galacticos Real Madrid. His form there is not even near to his Milan form, but Leo believes he will be okay.
“Kaka has a groin strain, but we must not evaluate his season only on this basis. We must take into consideration the fact that Kaka changed team and like all other players, he needs a period to adapt.
“I’m sure that he will do well at Real Madrid. He’s just in his first year. Being eliminated from the Champions League was a blow for the entire team, not just him.
“I know him and I’m sure that Ricky does not give up and will fight to emerge.”

come on…don’t but yepes. he’s good and all, but we need young players. we need defenders – but not players above 25. forza milan! kaka will do well. if he does not…he’s welcome back here…!
Milan should buy a young defender and Yepes is not one of the players who are on my wishlist.
Kaka made a huge mistake when moved. He shines sometimes, but still he’s not the Kaka of Milan…

yepes is a good defender but he’s old. he’s not like nesta who will be great also in age of 40 (if he will still play football) – we need a youngster, like miranda or kjaer.
well according to Yepes, we got him. Milan and Yepes have come to an agreement. So now all that is missing is the contract signed and yepes is a Rossoneri for Free.
