LEONARDO has full faith in Ronaldinho, as he gives him full backup against the Italian media. The Brazilian Coach attacks the media for publishing false and unfounded news.

The Italian media reported that Milan ace Ronaldinho was partying in a hotel during the week of the match against Inter Milan, where he had a bad performance. However, those reports were seriously denied by the Brazilian.

Ronaldinho released an official statement via his official site, which claims he has nothing to do with those parties, as he works too hard so it wouldn’t make sense he did it.

On Saturday press conference, Milan Coach Leonardo has hit back at the Italian press, as blaming them for making noise out of nothing, and reporting about false stories, with no base, and basically, unfounded at all.

“I am not angry, but I would like to point out that when news like that comes out it should be supported by proof,” Leo said. “Personally I did not see any images which could confirm the voices regarding Ronaldinho.

“I believe in my player, I have a very good relationship with him and I know him well. Here at Milanello he trained well throughout the week and did all he had to do.

“In the past he made some mistakes, he paid for them, but now he’s working seriously. We regularly subject the player to exams, Ronaldinho himself tells me where he goes and what he does.

“It’s too bad that unfounded news has come out. I hope he continues performing well. The club intervened correctly and talked with Ronaldinho himself,” the 40-year-old Brazilian concluded.
