LEONARDO hopes the injury of Alexandre Pato is not as serious as it seemed, as reflecting over the match against Atalanta on Sunday.

The Brazilian Coach is happy with the home-triumph against the Nerazzuri, where Alexandre Pato scored a brace, and then fell down during a counterattack, and Marco Borriello added another one, in a 3-1.

This win maintained the position of the Rossoneri in the second place, and following the draw of Napoli with Roma, kept them away from the third place by three points, as the top stays four-points away from reaching.

“We had our difficulties, we didn’t create enough moves at the start but we were coming from a heavy period which took away our energies,” Leonardo told the press after watching his side beating Atalanta in Stadio San Siro.

“We were intelligent to strike at the right moment and raise our center of gravity for the remainder of the match. Today I’m particularly happy for Janku, he had few opportunities because of his injury and today he did well.

“Ronaldinho? He also did very well, he’s in a great moment, he gives us a constant alternative and he gives us numerical superiority in every area of the pitch. Now we’re just a bit worried for Pato, but maybe it’s not serious.

“In Rome? It will be a tough and nice match, we still have a good chance to improve our position.”
