Leonardo may consider putting Andrea Pirlo in the trequartista position, after succeed in doing it very well with his national team on Wednesday

Italy played against Bulgaria on Wednesday, and won 2-0. Italy looked well with SEVEN Juventus players in the first eleven. However, the main change in Marcello Lippi’s squad was in the midfield, with Andrea Pirlo.

Pirlo is usually playing in the center of the midfield, deep-lying role or the playmaker position, however in Italy win, the Italian played behind the two strikers, where Ronaldinho plays at AC Milan.

Milan have understood that Ronaldinho can’t carry Milan on his back all along the season, and already started to looking for a player in this role – ‘the next Kaka’. Nevertheless, they might be looking for another kind of player.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan Coach Leonardo would play with a similar system, as he would push the 30-years-old deeper after did it in an excellent way with Italy. Andrea will play in the trequartista, supporting Alexandre Pato and Ronaldinho or Huntelaar.

The Italian international played in the attacking midfielder position when was younger, but has been pushed back following the arrivals of such Kaka and Rui Costa. Ronaldinho has not been counting on anymore, and that would ease on him.
