The Rossoneri midfielder Mathias Cardacio, has been identified as a perfect reinforcement for Israel champions Maccabi Haifa

‘The Greens’ have qualified for this year Champions League group stage after beat Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg 3-0. Maccabi Haifa got tons of money by getting up to the Champions League and they already invest some on River Plate’s Jewish starlet Eial Strahman.

However, they also targeted AC Milan midfielder Mathias Cardacio who joined AC Milan on 2008. The Uruguayan played only one match with the Rossoneri outfit, when Milan beat Palermo 3-0, but Haifa manager Elisha Levy, believes Mathias can help his team to build up ahead of the Champions League.

Cardacio, 21, played for one year at Nacional, but Milan recognized the player’s technique and potential. The Rossoneri Blog understands that the Israeli club is very keen on the player. And Milan, who are looking for a side-back all summer, can only use the extra money selling him would provide.

AC Milan and Maccabi Haifa can still face each other in the Champions League group stage as Milan are coming off the first pot and Haifa from the fourth. Who knows, maybe Milan Israeli fans’ dream will come true and Milan will arrive to Israel, where many can see them playing on live!
