Paolillo: Milan could be a surprise

The Nerazzuri director believes Milan should not be count out of the Scudetto racers lists, as they are not DEAD after Inter-humiliation

Despite opened the season well with 1-2 victory over Siena, Milan found it quite difficult to show same abilities also against Inter Milan, in the second round of the new Serie A season. The match was one-sided and Inter recorded great win over city rival, 0-4 triumph away.

Many believe Milan turned into a scrap in the recent years – a team that don’t dangerous and don’t reach more than third place. Milan do not success like they used to do before, but it would be stupid to claim Milan will have ‘another fall’ also this year.

However, any side has opponents. Despite people think Milan will do nothing new this season, and end up third again – there are some that are sure, that Milan still didn’t have their say and showed what they got, despite horrible display, at San Siro.

One of Milan supporters is Inter man in face. Inter director/official (what ever you like), told Milan are not the poor horse which he door doesn’t open in time, as they still have time to reduce the gap from the others, and maybe even reach the title.

"The title race is only between two teams [Inter Milan and Juventus]? There may be surprises," Ernesto Paolillo told realsports.it. "First of all, beyond the outcome of the derby, Milan is able to address the league in a strong manner and should not be underestimated."

The clubs who not considered to the big three, such as Roma, Fiorentina, Genoa etc, have a shot just as the big teams have, according to the Black & Blue director.

"Plus, we must not forget other teams such as Genoa, Sampdoria, and Fiorentina. They could cause a shock," he concluded
