LEONARDO doesn’t know what the future conceal to Paolo Maldini, despite there were speculations that Maldini could return to Milan in a director role.

Maldini is standing is the top of AC Milan legend list. The man has been with Milan for 24.5 years but decided to quit football. However, it was said that Maldini thinks about getting back to Milan as a director.

Leonardo told that some of the legends of Milan visited the dressing room during the week. When an important man for a club you’re playing at shows up, it always a raise on momentum and will to be like them.

“Maldini and Billy during the week have been inside the dressing room, they were very positive presences. The same thing for Mauro Tassotti, who has been at Milan for the past 30 years,” Leo said.

“Their presence gave us a lot, the players were happy because with their words they transmitted a lot. Paolo Maldini and [Franco] Baresi are world flags of Italy and Milan. I don’t know what Paolo will do in the future.

“Today he is in a moment of transition, it’s easier for me than for Paolo, because for what he represents it’s not easy. However, he is calm, he’s an intelligent person, these things are built slowly inside you.”

Franco Baresi was the captain of Milan before Maldini. He played at Milan since 1977 until 1997. Mauro Tassotti is Milan assistant coach and former player, who played at Milan from 1980 to 1997.
