Hernanes: AC Milan player one day?
Following recent rumors saying Andrea Pirlo is on the way to Chelsea, Sao Paolo midfielder Hernanes could take his spot on the field and make him dream come true
Hernanes, 24, dreams about playing for the Rossoneri someday, turning down offers from many sides, but still waits to the one and only, which he believes is AC Milan. Hernanes said his dream is to be Rossonero before, but his agent maintains it today as he spoke to SkySport.
Many people have already considered Hernanes as Andrea Pirlo heir if he joins AC Milan. However, this might become to reality as Pirlo is correctly been linked with an exit from San Siro. While Pirlo deal seems close to done, Hernanes Brazilian agent, Federico Pena drops a massive hint about his client’s will.
“Officially, no representative of Milan has spoken to us, but Milan is a dream for him” he explained to Sky Sport on Sunday. “His value can only be decided by Sao Paulo, but I think €13-14 million. Barcelona tried last year, however, at that time Sao Paulo had no intention of selling.”
The player’s delegate admitted they were other Serie A teams interesting in the services of Hernanes. “There were also discussions about Juventus before they bought [Felipe] Melo and also from Inter,” Pena said.
Hernanes plays in the defensive midfielder position, having scored 10 goals in 72 matches for the Tricolor Paulista, 7 goals in 23 appearances for Santo André when he was on loan from Sao Paolo on 2006 and one goal in Brazil’s under 23; he also played once with the first Brazil squad.
