Habitually exceeds: Ronaldinho is set to stay at Milan

‘La Gazzetta dello Sport´ is informer that the Brazilian is set to play at Milan also next season.

In the last few weeks, it been reported that Ronaldinho and Manchester City have been approach. Ronaldinho been linked with the City for almost 3 weeks and it has seemed like he goes on it. ‘Dinho’ had suffered from injury this year, an injury that cost him 2 months without playing. Well, he came back now but he still – apparently not in the best shape and we can see it by take a look at the bench for a minute, who we see there…Ronalndino of course.

I never said no or it was unacceptable to Ronaldinho’s transfer this summer, in fact, I thought he would bring Milan to new highs. It is hard to take control over Brazilian players; I do not have any claim to Kaka or Pato because they pretty nerd for being a Brazilian player. Dinho? He likes to party, and a lot. He one of those players that would do some problems at trainings or just be late, he has great skills but he very problematic. I am not judging him; I just say what I think.

If Barcelona did not want the hot Brazilian, the player that Rijkaard was so needy at – this is a problem. My brother told me (I don’t think he note the facts right) that Barca got an offer of selling Ronaldinho to some team in the summer two years ago, after he won the Ballon D’Or title for much money and Barca said no. Oh, they felt sorry about that, in that season, his diminution in the skills started.

Ronaldinho. Choose to stay, but for how much long?

Ronaldinho. Choose to stay, but for how much long?

However, Milan took the risk and bought him. I could not have blamed them – in his first games, he was not something, but he learned how to play Italian style, which is much different from the Spanish.

Now, it has been the City turn to make the risk as they to buy great players. The agent/brother of Ronaldinho claims that it was very hard to Ronaldinho to leave Milan as he said. Even the Brazilian team Flamengo are interesting in Ronaldinho’s services. “I think it’s even very difficult that he could return to Brazil at this time,” the agent said.

Milan don’t really want to give up on Ronaldinho and send him to another club as Carlo Ancelotti (who also have story of his own) want to see him in 2009/2010 squad as he said “Our intention is to keep him.” But doing is more difficult than say as he put earlier doubt about Dinho’s future in the team by saying “but if he expresses a desire to change environment, it will be taken into consideration.”

His agent put more doubts about his brother moving speculation after saying Dinho likes the club and where he lives a lot, but he may go to a different club who has more options ahead of which can bring Dinho the turning point to good as he wants to. “If you ask me about whether he can join European clubs then I will say yes.” The agent set.

City is a European club, let’s do 1+1 = Manchester City, that’s how we could think that day when the City jump up into the race to his service next year as the offering €11 million – If I was him I was getting insult a bit – hey! Ronaldinho is two times Mister best in world, he must cost a little more higher. To Kaka, they offered much much much much more.

So, let’s do a little stocktaking: We have Milan, which want him to stay, two Brazilian clubs (Corinthians and Flamengo), and another Italy team (Napoli) and one English team (Manchester City). Ok so, as I say in the start of the article, Dinho chose to stay in the club for at least an other year, but did he decide to stay instead go with money to a bigger league.

As it seems, the only reason Dinho chose Milan over differenet club is the Champions League as he said, I promise we will win the Scudetto and the Champions League next season.” Ronaldinho has great contact with the team, though he is little dramatic and problematic, he is still I think, easy to like. “I get along well with my team-mates, with the directors and the fans,” he is quoted as saying in La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I don’t plan to leave this shirt. It’s true that I hoped to become champion of Italy with Milan and I am disappointed we didn’t meet our targets.” Dinho added.

Ronaldinho played 26 times with Black & Red shirt and scored eight goals until today with the team. These are the titles and honors he got and share:

With Barcelona:  Spanish Liga: 2005, 2006. Supercopa de España: 2005, 2006. UEFA Champions League: 2006.

With Brazil national team: FIFA U-17 World Cup: 1997. Copa America: 1999. FIFA World Cup: 2002. Confederations Cup: 2005. 2008 Summer Olympics: Bronze medal.

By him self: FIFA Confederations Cup Top Scorer: 1999. FIFA Confederations Cup Golden Ball: 1999. Rio Grande do Sul State Championship Top Scorer: 1999. FIFA World Cup 2002 All-Star team: 2002. FIFA 100. EFE Trophy (Best Ibero-American Player in La Liga): 2004. FIFA World Player of the Year: 2004, 2005   . UEFA Club Best Forward: 2004-05. European Footballer of the Year: 2005. Who will rich him for long? Only the time would say…

* If you did not understand the meaning of the words habitually exceeds in the title concerning to this situation, here is the explanation: When  I wrote “Habitually exceeds” I meant that he break the thing that was excepted and that go with the money, most of the footballers acting from lust to money, but now he didn’t – at least for now.
