Galliani: Allegri Is A Milanista

MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI is a Milan fan according to Adriano Galliani, who also suggested that Milan have never contacted with Marco van Basten.

Leonardo is expected to announce his departure after the last Serie A match on Saturday night against Juventus, and the future remains unknown, as even the question of next year coach is unclear.

Many names have came up, including Mauro Tassotti and Filippo Galli, two in-house persons, but the Italian press believes Serie A Coach of the Year Allegri, and Vice President Galliani doesn’t excludes these reports.

“He [Massimiliano Allegri] is a Milanista, because he went on tour with us,” Galliani said. Asked about Marcello Lippi, who has been linked with Milan, he said: “He is not a Milanista, but he is a friend.”

Marco van Basten, a former Milan striker and a living Rossoneri legend was linked with Milan move, but he ruled it out for a hurt ankle. On that issue, Galliani commented: “We have never spoken with Marco.”
