DARREN FLETCER has talked about tonight’s decisive match between Manchester United and AC Milan, and is getting ready to meet a true United legend – David Beckham, who will wear Black.
The Scot midfielder believes Milan and former Manchester United midfielder, Beckham, can be sure that he will get a warm welcome when returning to play against The United in Old Trafford ever since left them seven years ago.
When ‘King David’ was in his pick, ‘Fletch’ was a youngster who looked up for The Red Devils hysterical midfielder. This night, he will meet him again after the affair in San Siro, in Old Trafford when both were taught and raised.

“As a youngster at Manchester United he was one of the players you looked up to,” Fletcher revealed in a press conference.
“Alongside Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane. David Beckham was one of those. Obviously he’s moved on from here and still had a successful career, and is still battling for a place in the World Cup squad for England.
“So I’m sure he’ll be welcomed back to Old Trafford and the fans will give him a great reaction like in Milan.”
Asked about his team-mate, Wayne Rooney, who just can’t stop scoring this season, as there are 23 league-goals to his name, Darren said:
“I don’t think Wayne’s changed. I think he’s matured and he’s improved as a player. He’s really risen to the challenge this year of being the goalscorer and his performances have improved.
“He’s got stronger as the season’s went on because his confidence has grown. He really does believe he’s up there with the best players in the world.”

Fletcher is under-rated. He does some really great things on the pitch, but all the credit goes to the other players in my opinion. I’m sure that Beckham is expecting a great welcome by Manchester’s fans. Forza Milan!!
Beckham is a true idol. I was raised on the guy too. I just didn’t have enough talent…lol
Forza AC Milan! We can beat Manchester United!
Roo is very dangerous. Last time, it ended up in two goals away, think what can he do in home?!?! I’m scared… Leo said he would figure something out to stop the Englishman. I hope so
Milan can beat Manchester! Those English sonofabitches! Forza Milan!
