Berlusconi holds the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy: Who will win today?
AC Milan head-coach Leonardo has read the names of 20 Milan players, for the Berlusconi Trophy against Juventus on Monday night
The Berlusconi is a traditional tournament features AC Milan and Juventus. Juventus are the best Italian team in the history and until last season, Milan were the second with 17 Scudetto titles and 14 runner-ups. However when Inter were crowned as last year’s champions, thry earn the equalizer.
The Berlusconi Trophy or Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi is a tournament of one match only. The president of A.C. Milan Silvio Berlusconi founded it in memory of his father Luigi Berlusconi. AC Milan won this tournament 10 times and Juventus eight times.
In the first addition of this tournament/friendly match (23 August 1991), Juventus were the champs, when won 2-1 (Maldini scored Milan goal). Since this day, the tournament is between AC Milan and Juventus. It takes place every year and the game is full (90 minutes, unlike the TIM Trophy).
This could be a very hard game for Milan, who know what is the feeling when you lose to Juventus in the summer. Two and a half days passed and Milan meet again Juventus, after the TIM Trophy on Friday night, when Juventus beat both Milan clubs all the way to the lift.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Flavio Roma who didn’t have such a glory debut with Milan on Friday will get further chance to show what they’ve got to offer. Juventus will probably play with Diego, who didn’t take place on Friday’s victories. Also Pirlo will return to the lines.

Defenders: Antonini, Favalli, Jankulovski, Kaladze, Nesta, Oddo, Onyewu, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta;
Midfielder: Abate, Flamini, Gattuso, Pirlo;
Forwards: Borriello, Huntelaar, Inzaghi, Pato, Ronaldinho.
