Silvio Berlusconi (L), Adriano Galliani: Milan deciders
As two deals are expected to be through this week, Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi assembled vice president Adriano Galliani and Fifa agent Ernesto Bronzetti to tell him about the progress in the deals they working on
After bad summer that includes five defeats in a row, an appointment of unknown coach, selling Kaka and playing without retired Maldini, maybe this week some good news will arrive to Milanello as Luis Fabiano deal is close to done.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Berlusconi called up Adriano Galliani [who's in charge on Pirlo deal with Chelsea] and agent Ernesto Bronzetti [who's in charge on bringing Luis Fabiano to Milan] for a meeting, to discus about the correct status of both sets of negotiations.
While Andrea Pirlo is on the verge of joining Chelsea and reports suggest Claudio Pizarro could be part of the deal, the Rossoneri are planning to offer money plus the services of Pizarro to Sevilla in order to reach Fabiano.
However, many other reports saying Milan would like cash only in order to submit the money on big targets such as Luis Fabiano. Chelsea now increase their bid for the Italian international while Sevilla want around £18m (€20m) on their hitman.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Berlusconi also will talk only with Galliani and Leonardo to discus about the transfer policy of this summer. Leonardo complains that his squad is too small and Galliani agrees. But Berlusconi thinks about buying players under 23-years-old because they cheaper.
The Italian supreme is not allowed to spend much money in those days of economic crisis as he also Italy prime minister.
