Here is the squad of Milan.

AC Milan face Olympiacos F.C., Real Betis and F91 Dudelange (game schedule here) in the 2018/19 Europa League Group Stage and coach Gennaro Gattuso has named his squad for the competition.

Andrea Conti, who will only return to action in October as he’s recovering from knee surgery, and Ivan Strinić, who has been forced to suspend sporting activity, are out of the squad. Gigio Donnarumma, Alessandro Plizzari, Raoul Bellanova, Marco Brescianini, Emanuele Torrasi, Patrick Cutrone and Frank Tsadjout are all in the B List (*) which is for young home-grown players, but of course they are eligible to play like everyone else.

  1. we shouldn’t keep our main focus on europa……. our main focus should be on serie A top 4 position coz UCL is the goal for Milan….so don’t waste energy on Europa…….Napoli, Inter, Roma, Lazio all having bad start this year compared to previous seasons, so should take the chance, if our match against Genoa took place on schedule time n we won that game we seems to in position 4 of league table………..Forza Milan

  2. Reina – Abate (Bellanova 60′), Caldara, Gabbia, Laxalt – Bakayoko, Montolivo (Torrasi 60′), Halilovic (Bertolacci 75′) – Castillejo, Cutrone, Borini

Not used: A. Donnarumma, Plizzari, Calabria, Zapata, Simic, J. Mauri, H. Calhanoglu, Tsadjout

That would be fair enough against Dundelange. We have to drop our youngsters into play, and EL is a great opportunity for our newcomers and players with less playtime to get some minutes.

  3. Really liking this squad, both the players from the first eleven as well as the youth players. Hope we’ll see them play, at least against Dudelange, along with the players who play less! Should prove to be a good test for them. As @BC said, if they don’t have what it takes against Dudelange, then they probably dont have what it takes.
