Suso has caught the interest of Inter and his agent already spoke to them. Antonio Candreva could be offered in the deal, while José Callejón has already been ‘booked’ according to reports.
The Milan mercato is on hold until the whole UEFA affair is settled, but it doesn’t stop other clubs from being interested in buying players from the Rossoneri.
According to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter want to sign Suso and Milan have already been informed of this by his agent, Alessandro Lucci, who spoke to the Nerazzurri director of sport Piero Ausilio. Lucci is the agent of Leonardo Bonucci, and he brought the center back to Milan from Juventus last summer.
Di Marzio claims that Milan are now waiting for a formal offer from Inter. It is said that the €40m release clause in the Spaniard’s contract is only valid for clubs outside of Italy and that so Inter could offer Antonio Candreva in the deal. However, in case of a money + player exchange, Milan would only be interested in including 25-year-old Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozović.
A replacement for Suso is believed to already be lined-up – Napoli’s José Callejón, who has a €20m release clause. The 31-year-old has been a target of the Rossoneri for some time and Di Marzio believes that the Diavolo have ‘booked’ the player, who scored 12 goals and assisted 17 last season.
Massimiliano Mirabelli said before that Milan’s objective this summer is to keep their big players, but also claimed that if someone wants to leave and there’s an adequate offer, Milan will listen.
