Emanuele Torrasi was pleased with his Milan debut and he thanked Gennaro Gattuso and his family.

Milan beat Fiorentina 5-1 on the final matchday of the Serie A to secure 6th and a Europa League group stage place.

Primavera’s Emanuele Torrasi joined in on the celebration as he made his Rossoneri debut, replacing the scorer of the fifth goal, Bonaventura, in the 85′ minute.

“It’s the crowning moment of a small dream,” Torrasi told MilanTV at the end of the game at Stadio San Siro. “Thanks to my parents I have made it here. Then, I must also thank Gattuso because he believed in me during the whole season. It’s a great honor to wear these colors. I wouldn’t be here without my family. They have followed me everywhere, I owe them everything.

“The Primavera finished outside of the playoffs zone? There is a lot of regret with the Primavera teammates, but we always trained to the maximum and we must be happy with that. Last year Cutrone debuted on the final matchday? I hope to do what he did then, he had an extraordinary season. Gattuso? He sends us hunger, the desire to arrive and improve, I thank him again.”

Torrasi’s debut was a particularly beautiful way to end the season as in the summer he suffered and ACL injury after being made captain of Gattuso’s Primavera side; yesterday, he played at San Siro.

  1. I watched the way he moved the ball yesterday. I can easily say the future is bright for him if he keeps that up. He is a real germ with the ball. Passes are on point.
